Current situation.
I'm not really involved in the commercial end of things here, but there are more new sticker shops near me, the farmers market events are super slow and they are everywhere. retail quality that I see sucks, dried out old shit from the west mostly or local stuff that's poor... not much demand out there except for old folks who are newbies and don't know how to cop weed. I was in a hydro shop the other day when an old guy like us came in and when he saw the few grams of glue I had he demanded it, lol. my glue really kicked ass this season!
things will be really brutal next year, it's the first season in Cali with no acreage limits and they will probably flood the rest of the world harder than we have ever seen before. people in poor areas like we live in are all over 1+ year old west coast boof but someday you would think folks are going to want fresh shit, no?
on the bright side there are so many legal ops failing all over the US this year that it looks like recreational won't survive in it's current form. here in NY the first 300 dispo's are supposed to go to felons but the hacks in charge never raised any of the 250 million that was supposed to pay to get the stores opened.4 legal dispos in NY so far.... it looks like there is no rush of investment money into the rec market here.

people I know who are not at the very top of quality are getting creamed from coast to coast for sure.
I spent about $1200 on my grow last season, 3/4's of that was rice hulls and perlite used to double my cultivated area and also bartered a few zips with a hydro shop for bamboo stakes mostly. I can cherry pick the best 5-10% of my crop for my medical needs and hook up some other poor folks I know who are sick. I just take the tops now and chop and drop the rest.
the last few years I've been getting my soil dialed to Slow's specs and my quality is way up, really happy with my outs now. it's so easy and I love working outside. hope to get a damn hoop up this year and do some dep.
look at you all LED styling. flower looking dope like always! you look pretty bullish on Mitten weed what with the expansion you have going. are you happy with the market you are in? you have as many buyers as you want? seems to be tha biggest problem with my commercial friends is that their buyers slowly disappear until there's just one.

I was gonna go big indoors but I’m gonna stay small and just get slightly bigger and see how the season goes going to do some outdoor as well but nothing crazy

this season I will continue to cull down to my favorites that finish early here, ECSD, Runtz, Headband, Josh D OGK, SFV OGK, '92 OGK, GG#4.
I will run my favorite that only finish when the season goes long also like the Wedding Cake, Mac1, Chem D, Chem 91 SKVA, Grapefruit haze, Chaco's Sour Valley, Forum cookies, Cherry Pie. I saved 2 phenos from the Trainwreck x Durban last year that I'll run again.
I'm going to try to get up to visit rebel dan in VT this month and grab his double og chem clone that has won so many times at the emerald cup. last season I passed a shitload of genetics to his farm so I will see what other gear they have that's interesting. my homie over that way still has the sour dubb I used to pass and a cut of platinum kush that finishes really well here so I'm trying to get those back and the blue dream too.
my buddies in Mass have a bunch of gear that I have not tried outside yet so I want to run more clones to search for those outliers that are done in September full season.
hopefully my testicles will drop down far enough that I feel safe running a small light dep hoop here. it would be great to harvest 2-3 units of higher quality early in the summer.
I need to grow less but I'm already planning some new patches, lol.

I have held this clone tight since I got it and will probably keep it for a long time to come. So hard to get elite cuts where I am at in the north but some are starting to trickle in. I wish I knew someone with the killer Sour Dubb cut , sheesh that is one I might never see.
I did just aquire Chem D, GSC, BC Pink kush, Oreoz and I'm waiting on some others.
This greenhouse/lightdep season is getting under way for me but I've been preparing since January and have lots of plants indoors that are ready or will be ready to be put out when my season starts on June 10.
I'll be running several ogkb 2.0 and I popped some of the Fire OGKB f2's I made.
I also popped my very last 5 Scoutbreath seeds a few weeks back...... I might have to knock up a branch of a 2.0 this summer if I get a scoutbreath male
