Hopefully the green dragon cut is good. I'll find out in about 4 months and will report back then.

hi guys... I'm using Canna A @ B for drain to waste medium formula (soft water version) & pro-mix in 5 gallon pots under 6 k HPS
Is anyone else having an issue cloning 2.0?
I got her to root originally and now every time I take cuts I cannot for the life of me get her to root.
Aerocloner, 70 degree water, 6ph and 75 degrees in the room.
Everything else is rooting in 7-12 days
Might need to try rapid rooters next

Because I’m an idiot I forgot to back up the 2.0. I just took 2 cuts off the her 8 weeks into flower. One of them is rooted and the other looks close. It’s been almost 20 days.
This was using a 5 gallon bucket spray cloner more or less following the “griffin tek”.

How many times did you top her?
I did some minor topping less than I do with other strains , she’s pretty generous with her structure and wants to give lots of leads naturally ,but it’s good to try to keep them even as their vegging this is what I found also what she really likes is defoliation... not drastic All at once, but a steady defoliation as she matures you let that light in and she will respond...

I was lucky enough to get a sample of these fantastic genetics and immediately within a few days was able to pick a few small snips and away they go. Rooters, clonex, a couple drops of SuperThrive in a gallon of RO water to soak rooters. Add to a clone dome under not to much light and clonex mist. Humidity 80% plus for a few weeks with misting inside dome temps around 75 and there you go. I just put some into 3" pots to start on the road to being a new mom. Not to much water on the rooters but not to dry. I have had really good luck cloning on a small scale just learning here on these forums.
edit to add I dont intend on keeping all of them. Just the one more I need for a back up mom. I keep 2 moms of the strains I am lucky enough to have. If I am lucky and get one or two more of the ones I seek I will have to start making some choices of lesser but still good plants. But this queen will be in the house for a long time.
