I have been lurking for a while as well. I'm in SoCal, and nobody I talk to is running her. A few of them have heard and/or are aware of CP's 2.0. I've seen a sample of what was sold as OGKB2.0 from a local disp. That's what the label on the bottle said so it's gots to be the real! Right? Haha It smelled great but only crumbs and dust left to look at so I didn't want to smoke this kids last snap and a half. I've become much more considerate as the years pass. Because if I was the man I was 5 years ago I'd have taken a FLAMETHROWER to that fkn dope it smelled so good. lol I never cruised by the disp to check it out.

There's a shiiiit ton of growers in the valley. The few I know prob make up about .01 of 1%. I'm sure it's here. Just not being run by enough growers or run in enough big grows to get it in the hands it takes to kick the hype train into high gear imho. If it's as killer as it seems and Chunky wants to see it take over the world I suggest a move be made, and sooner than later. Prop 64 is gonna fuk shit up. Nobody knows for sure but my guess is that getting it out there in enough lungs will only be harder when fewer growers are feeding the market. People are gonna smoke what the growers give them to smoke. I could be completely wrong about how 64 will affect the scene but if Im not..... the clock is a tickin. Either way only time will tell.

I wanted to say thanks for a while as I find this thread to be pretty chill and something I look forward to checking every time I log on. Like Diego's finest. I just dig the attitude, chunky's, Dan's and everybody else's that regularly post in this thread. Keep it up fellas!

Funny, I usually go over my posts before I hit submit and this one was no different. Just a quick scan to make sure..... whatever. I dropped a scentence that mentioned gg4 and the fine line between hype and saturation. I didn't want to piss anybody off.

Chunky and 2.0 are in a good spot. At an odd time. If he wanted to conquer his enemies, see them driven before him and hear the lamentation of their women, there's still time. Though perhaps he's more civilized? Either way.

resin-thats my only worry is that it becomes like gg4, not a bad thing, but I can see mega confusion between breeders/growers of what is & isn't.

Bare in mind that it took the Glue at least 3 years from creation in 2011 before it was starting to pop up all over the place. 2 more years on top of that and anybody who knows anybody can get a cut, if not two or 3 mislabeled cuts and/or S1s.

The 2.0 is nice, but it lacks a commercial aspect that the GG4 carries. That is a large reason I feel on why the gap in the rise in popularity compared to GG4. 2.0 is some headstash smoke, you aren't going to run it to be a cash cropper, most commercial growers anyways. I can't imagine anybody trying to blow one up outdoors either but who knows?

2.0 doesn't have "cookies" in the name, even though it is an S1 of the family and there isn't some goober rapper whoring it out and being the hypetrain conductor.

If you are still looking for the cut then my only advice would to continue to be patient as she will certainly find your circle eventually. Let her find you, not the other way around. Just spread that love when she does find you. I know for a fact she is in different parts of Cali.

To be honest its that stinky panties plant that I'm always most excited to see new pics and info of. I think it's a triploid or maybe a pentaploid. Something odd in the chromosomes. Just a guess but I remeber Chunky noticed some similarities in a post somewhere. Only way to know for sure is with a microscope , some dye, root tips, and ability to count. It would be interesting to find out the level of ploidy. Curious see if fertility could be restored while maintaining those qualities that chunky seems to find special. I also liked his comment/theory on the growth rate of the root system below vs the rate of growth above ground. Interesting shit if you ask me. lol But don't.... I won't shut up!

i'm not in any elite cut circle. I was being very appreciative of a great cut extremely well run by chunky. I understand how hard it is to get into some circles and I gots no problem with the way it works.

dansbuds and tonygreen have done some interesting work with gorilla bubble and I ordered some gb bx2 off the bay. you get 20 beans per pkg so I have ample opportunity to do some glue dom selection for some crosses.

eventually the cookie beans will be plentiful.

i'm a big fan of this strain from what little I know/read and of course the mouth watering peectures.

really, i'm just an avid fan looking one day down the road to work with some of these genetics. I ordered gdp beans. I've got two nice Durban lines (landraces). needing some really good og kush beans at some time. I enjoy appreciating other breeders fine work as much as I enjoy doing my own projects.

well spreading her like I did at a MI cup will never make a dent like the spread of GG#4 at the Cali Cups.
there must be 50 times as much action on the west coast compared to MI and east.

hopefully I'm able to get clones of The OGKB 2.0 and Stink Panties to reputable nurseries on the west coast after I move.
lots more people I trust to manage my garden there while I travel.

with both Mass and Maine going recreational and RI's liberal medical there will be some serious action starting up in the East and maybe we see some big events or cups soon.

Yeah me and buddy's are looking st the new lisecnese here, 1500 plant limit, I'm glad I got the stink panties to root again cu I'll be doing a nice run of her once it's all set in place. Large number small plants is what I like.

But, no meetups or smokeouts on the east that I know of and I am constantly looking. Thats my whole point of showing my grow on the forums. High times just had a march in my city, in my local park. I would have thought I would get to chat with a fellow grower or something. It just dont work like that, ime.

Im sketched out when when a dude would rather use a middleman than have a smoke with me.

If you guys have any info on smokeouts on the east, Im there.

I run both and it would surprise me for someone to prefer the Three over OGKB 2.0 unless they didn't dig heavy smoke
they have very different effects and flavor to me I find the Three to be on the functional side.

for me the effects are more like the forum and I way prefer the forum over the Three.

I felt like spreading her was worthy because you never know what is going to ring someone else's bell but I suspect she'll go the way of GlueBreath for most people.

I can't see anything bumping OGKB 2.0 out of my rotation personally. Stink Panties too.

I'm not hitting the Three jar enough for me to want to flower her out right now but I want to reverse her onto her sisters at some point before I let her go.

for me the Three doesn't hit that mark kinda like the way I feel about the Thin Mint.
the Thin Mint really makes me sleepy though so I smoke it pretty often but not everynight.
I don't touch the Corey Stardawg or Glue anymore if I got jars of Dubb or Diesel.

it's great to finally have control over my meds and have so much choice.
I'm so grateful to the folks who shared these great genetics with me so that I get to be so well medicated now.

Really enjoyed this one. Not the strongest I have but great smell/flavor/quality of high. Not completely couchlocking(can be offset with good coffee). Made s1s. Smell is like funky potpourri. My wife even likes it. I will take some dry picks if I remember.

I'm right there with you bro... born and raised on the East Coast... I think I know of one other guy that grows... and it's rare when he does... I don't talk to anyone about what I do except for people on this forum... that's my problem with sourcing cuts too, no one to get them from around these parts... I wish there was a smoke out meet up with some of y'all...!!!...
