Do y'all wash outdoor crops?

Just as the title says. Just stumbled upon people saying their wash their outdoor crops. 1 bucket with a solution of h2o2 and then two pure water buckets following. Wondering if anyone here advocates for this and if it's detrimental to potency etc, or if it makes for better cleaner smoke.

I have, but only when circumstances called for it. Wildfires dumping ash onto developing buds or an errant dry windstorm that blows dust into the buds. Saw no real merit to the process otherwise.
I normally just chop, dry, cure and partake.

You talking about H2O2? That’s hydrogen peroxide. Degrades chemically to water and oxygen.

I bet it's like a teaspoon of H2O2 to a gallon of water though. And then you rinse it twice. Not saying I would do this, but I don't think it would do any harm.

I've never done that, but I know theres some indoor growers that get paranoid about creepy crawlies in the outdoors. I just let the rain rinse my plants off.

I’ve seen some experienced and reputable folks around here who wash. I haven’t but…if you loupe your buds much you can see why some might.

Yes, that is what I'm referring to.

Maybe it's ok but it's the first I've heard of this. Baking soda and lemon juice dips I have heard of.

I can't see the point. If it's to clean off dust etc, I doubt it would work too well. Whatever is there will be stuck to resin anyway. I don't mind vaping the odd fungus gnat, added protein.

The fear of bringing in (live) bugs when drying the outdoor crop next to the indoor tent was my motivation.

I washed this year and am very happy with the results. Seems to be a touchy subject amongst growers. Don't know that I'll go back to not washing. I am using 2-25 gallon garbage cans. 1 mixed with a quart of food grade 3% peroxide and 1 just plain water. Good luck

I tried washing pm off a few years back and it didn't work for me. Ended up tossing a pound of bud. Just wanted to share my experience

you use peroxide that time?

it be option then to cleaning it with it and hanging it to dry at line or net
