Do Phosphorus deficient stems change back?

fall

New member
Hi Everyone!

So I have a couple of plants in flower that started to get purple stems from a phosphorus deficiency. So I caught it and gave them a small extra dose of feed. Now my question is should I expect the stems to change back? I've read through the forum and searched as best I can, but I haven't seen anyone cover this one. Thanks in advance everyone!

yes, it will turn back, what did you use for P?

but in organics, remember P is usually tied up and the microbe force has to be working to get the P to the roots to eat

Thanks habeeb. I used 5ml of Humboldt Ginormous. Since it was the only nuti I could find at my local shop that didn't have nitrogen.

I've often thought I had a P deficiency, but keep returning to the fact that only certain seedlings show the purple stems, and they've had the same care. Purple stems are probably a combination of genetics and environmental conditions.

I have had several strains over the years that taught me to ignore purple stems with THOSE STRAINS. the purple will extend all the way to the vein thru the center of the big leaves. With a multiple strain grow all the others will look fine, but those strains will be showing purple, from very early on, regardless of what I do. As hard as it can be...I take not of it, but don't start adding this or that to in a futile attempt to chage it. If I see purple stems where there shouldn't be any...then I get alarmed and take action against it.

ok so i had the same problem on my outdoor, but it was the tops of them and part of the stem, i bought some humboldt county shit that had 0-16-0 and it hasnt turned back yet, what would you suggest?
