I can see both sides here, but the fact they said, "us people". Being not only a grower, but a med patient as well, they can go get fukked in the highest way. I know low prices are the way to go, and all they had to say was, sorry we can no longer do business with you because of legal issues. But nope, they had to say, "us people". Won't ever do business with them again.
But I personally rather do business with bettergrowhydro, even if their prices are a bit more, the customer service is hard to beat.
But next time, never tell a hydro shop what you're doing, that's a big NO NO.

I hear some people have had problems with Inside Sun, but I have not. I didn't receive a shipping notice, but my orders came quickly. One order for a bulb was delayed so he sent me 2 bulbs for the price of one with an apology for the delay. They were 600 watts.

Anyway, some of us have learned to keep our hobby within our community until it is completely legal. So everybody stay safe and grow on!

last i heard medical pot wasnt legal in maryland is it? And even if it was, or if your a med user in cali, its the FEDERAL government they are worried about, the feds are the ones confiscating shops for this crap , med usage or not.

i have to agree with rollin here...
i'm a medical patient myself but i recognize that that doesnt provide any comfort to these business owners because the feds simply dont recognize med mar.
on a more positive note....
last year maryland did pass a law approving an affirmative defense for medical marijuana. granted it's one of the weaker laws to be enacted but it's a step in the right direction.

BUT I have something that I feel needs to be said. Some of you are acting like the people at MDhydro are assholes and consistantly rude when you deal with them.

THIS IS NOT TRUE

the people at md hydro are very helpful and will work with you to get you what you need. They are not rude in anyway shape or form.

You have to understand, they have a business that they run, and people that call them saying that are from a cultivation site has to put them at risk.

rollininoh, thanks, Ive placed 2 orders with them and still didn't know that. I always just give them a call when I have a question.

yeah, theyre 10 bucks cheaper. Depending on where you live, either one of those places could be cheaper.

Im glad you got hooked up with inside sun, don't get me wrong, Im not some mdhydro groupie or anything, thats just where I order from, so thats where I refer people to when they need equipment. Im sure there are a large number of hydro shops on the net that have good prices and good C/S.

Useful info contained herein regarding "ordering etiquette".

I actually discuss growing tomato, Genovese Basil, and various peppers with these guys in the shops...theres usually a wink and a nod going on when discussing the latest and the greatest cutting edge products, not many people buying, say, the Advanced Nutrient line at many hundreds of dollars to bring in there personal indoor Tomato crop but I get told about it anyways.

Life's a game and this is one that people are compelled to play in the U.S. in order to not jeopardize anyones liberty.

I have ordered from md hydro more than 5 times before online without any problems. Sometimes i get it next day. I have gone into the shop and spent lots of cash without problems. He even gives me free nutes to try out before. I have had no problems with them before. but i guess im not the customer to tell them im growing marijuana so i dont have problems. Someone mad a point earlier in the thread about driving a car registered to your grow house. I wouldnt try it i make sure to use a car we have that the tags wont run to our grow house everytime. Its to your adavantage as i think at times there where eyes. I never return directly to the grow spot right after visiting. peace Homegrown

well, its always the people who don't take thier security seriously that get busted. remember the lessons of green merchant. stakeouts were commonplace at hydroshops all across the country. expensive yes, but keep in mind that when a grower is busted thier assets are generally seized and divided among law enforcement and the prosecutors office. that in itself gives a serious incentive to go after indoor growers
no one said anything about permanent stings but all it takes is one time being noticed by leo and you've got serious problems.
especially considering you'll never know that you've been noticed.
when it comes to growing. paranoia is your friend

Perhaps you could help us out with a link to the thread that references that, I sure can't find any such mention. It may have been removed for libel reasons as the thread over there deteriorated into a paranoid delusions/ speculation fest (the guys a narc...etc, I'm guessing.)

why would someone tell a random company that they will be growing illegal drugs with their equipment. he doesnt even know them, for all he knows they could be so alw obiding that they might have sent the light, waited a month then told the police. that would have been his life over.

get some common sense and stop being so stupid.

i bet he is one of the people who tells everyone he knows about his grow, then it will get stolen or police will find out very quick. i would say good luck when you start to grow, but if your are going to ruin it for yourself before you even start theres no point.
