No ones warned him yet? Watch out for the dreams/nightmares you're about to start getting. Seriously, most seem to get a month or so of them when taking time off. Can be horrific.

Exactly.
The longer someone has been numbed to reality the more powerful those dreams and nightmares will happen too, i imagine.

Waking up not knowing whats real and whats not either, can be terrifying.

GMT you bring up a good point. When I was a kid I used to get night terrors, that was the technical name I guess. I've always had quite vivid dreams, and could wake up and go back to sleep and re-enter them.

Since smoking weed, and I know everyones different with their biochemistry, I very rarely dream. Only a handful of times that I could remember and even then, just vaguely.

Probably time for a little update, I ended up toking on the 7th day. So almost a week. It didn't feel rushed I woke up in a really good place. Feeling much better except one thing now, I want to dream again!

Thinking of starting a "dream break" instead of a tolerence break. Guess we'll see how that goes. Still have a nice tasty bowl in the bub. I appreciate all the replies.

I really enjoyed reading your post Carraxe. Much love thank you for sharing that and all the commenters in that post too. Hope you are all having a really awesome day or night wherever you are.

Just try to quit until you do start to have intense dreams again, if you haven't gone through the intense dream phase, your brain is still half numb.

Congratulations on the challenge you have presented yourself with. You've acknowledged something most choose to ignore. I hope you find positive changes.
I Have quit beer and grass for the last year. I had a problem with beer. It had it's claws in me for about 18 years. It was not easy to quit.
Pot, I was forced to stop (hair testing) if I wanted to see my son. Pot was easy to quit.
I feel good about stopping drinking
I don't feel good about no smoking pot. I still grow it. I love this plant. It's a good friend.
But a break from things is not bad. It's a challenge. You learn what you're made of.
Take it easy on yourself. There's worse habits. Good luck

Congrats! Babysteps!

The cray cray intense dream phase is no joke! My dreams started popping off again when this whole pandemic started so shit got real compiled with everything else it was nutty af! Woke up in many different realities. Thought it was psychedelic relapses. Meow my dreams are more latent content.

Deciphering needs vs wants is def the toughest part of "growing up". I am six months sober this go around and am feeling much better about letting go of the sweet mary. Still growing tho bc it is one of my fav hobbies and I feel a responsibility to keep my mom plants goin.

Drinking da booze was my nemesis for a few decades and was def way tough to hang up but I am glad I did. I will blaze again but it will be when I am in a happier place.

I am relearning how to be high on life again. Simple cheap thrills. Started growing indoor again and got a bunch of new strains.

Feels great to read other's accounts of my same struggles. Thanks for sharing and best wishes for the future!!

I appreciate the encouraging words. She is a friend but I'm learning that sometimes friends need some time apart to grow closer again. Much love.

Man you hit the nail on the head with that needs vs wants! It's not easy to admit. Especially when I tend to go without than settle for less. Quality cannabis has usually been the exception to that rule.

As frightening, because fear of the unknown, as it is I'm really looking forward to catching up on my dreams. I think it's important. I need to. Much love.
