Do any of you grow peppers or green onions in the tent?

I am thinking about growing peppers or green onions in the tent. I was thinking about jalapenos then I read that green onions also help with repelling pests in the tent. Does anyone grow peppers or green onions in the tent with your plants on there?

I've been working on a pepper breeding project. The key thing is that peppers like really warm daytime temps. 90-100F degrees is optimum for peppers. If you can provide those conditions you'll do great.

I grew out some poblanos and pasilla bahios at my normal cannabis temps (75-82F) and it resulted in small fruits that took forever to ripen. Higher temps and drier conditions fixed that. This might not be a big factor if you just do jalapenos, though. You'll have to try.

Peppers prefer a slightly higher ph; 6.5 to 7 is good.

I was also thrilled to discover that pepper branches usually clone very easily. If you grow out a plant and top it a few times you can get 20 or more branches/plants from one mother.

Green onions should do fine but might prefer temps more in the cannabis range than peppers.
