i was wondering if anyone had a suggestion for a timer?
i want to run my aero cloner for 1 min on, 3-5 min off.

i cant seem to find a timer that will that small of interval (most are 15-30 min)
any suggestions? or should i just let it run 24/7?

I use the Sentinel DRT-1. Other recycling timers are less money but this one is the most accurate, supports on/off times from 1 second to 4 days in 1 second increments. It's digital and let's you know where you are in the cycle at all times. About $100 these days. C.A.P has some options too.

This is a Botanicare 2 x 4 tray with 87 - 2" holes. I love the factory Botanicare Cloner 141 built off the same tray and a 141 hole lid. The only problem is they want $1200 bucks for the thing! Here is my version for less than $250 including tax.

What, how or where did you get material for lid or top/ I have 6 of those trays not in use and that would be a great project. thanks in advance

I'm in the market as well. Looks like you can get one from CAP for ~$50 that'll do 1-on, 4-off. If you want to specify the on/off minutes, you spend closer to $75. I'm about to pull the trigger on one of these.

thanks for the tip.
what cycle are you using? im wondering if the adjust ability is needed/justified for the extra price.

I would think that the 1/4 cycle should work for most people. I have an adjustable CAP timer for my Foggloner and usually run it about 45 second on and 3 minutes off because the ultrasonic fog would settle fairly quickly (depending on how many head i was running) although with some clones i was able to run a 1min/5min cycle.

put my cuts in 4 days ago with just Clonex soluble in the water. The newest growth is turning black on some of the cuts. doesn't seem good. any advice?

I just picked up a botanicare 25 site aerocloner for $150. Seemed like an okay deal. One question for you all - the pump seems quite loud. I have many other pumps and they are nearly silent. Is this one much louder due to the increased pressure? It's going to be hard to keep hidden...

do any of you who built this ez-cloner use epoxy or cement on the PVC fittings?

I was just collecting the needed items for this build out at a store and I saw the two part primer / epoxy cement that you'd apply on a PVC fitting if u were doing dome professional water lines in a house etc...

But I opted not to buy the cement. My reasoning was that any and all water leaking from the pipes would just be recirculated and recycled by the pump AND that any and all lost water wouldn't be enough to lower the pressure going thru the lines to the point of useless ness...

what do ya'll think!?
