No pest problem there from the holes you are showing us.... that looks more like a cat or dog got hungry... you got a pet?

Bugs to take that size of a hole you would most defiantly see them, like caterpillars and such..... corn borers...... that size of an insect; not saying you have them just using them for size example......

These plants go outside at all?

i would highly reccomend not using a soap solution for pesticide...its a very easy way to get light burn with soapy solutions...yes they are a "natual" way but when you use them you should raise your light a foot higher then usual if using HID

we have no pets. and they havent been outside. wierd. ive looked though all the plants and i didnt find anything. puzzled?!!??

thankz for answering.

hi chroniclyfaded, it aint a rat or mouse, they would brake the leaf or even the plant.

What ever it is making the holes is small and comes out at night i guess. Probably why you can't find it.

Just keep looking n you'll find it. Just wondering, are you feeding enough Potassium?

I would place a mouse trap in the grow room and you'll catch it...it seems to be something with teeth, not from an insect according to this pic:

It's not a mouse.

1. It's probably a caterpillar or something similar like a borer worm. I had borer worms and that's exactly the damage I noticed first.
Have you looked under the leaves? They may be hiding from the light or worse, burrowing into your stems!

Go to the store and get an insecticidal soap. I recommend Safer brand houseplant spray. It should kill pretty much any kind of insect.

2. Another thing that can cause holes in the leaves like that is the leaves burning from droplets of moisture being superheated under the light.
If you mist your plants or anything gets spilled on them, you need to turn off the light until they are dry or damage like this can occur.

you know ganjagorilla?

light burn because of what? you do relize that if this were correct: every plant on earth would burn after a rain. the sun is way bright aye.

water droplets getting hot...roflmao.

i vote on moth or fast azz worm?

THat is not true with the water droplets; there is no way light penetrates from droplets of water and makes holes. This has already been proven by many sources; and I think mythbusters even did it once if I remember right........

So that is just a common myth that light does that to plants.......
