I suck at organics but i can tell you what i think since no one has chimed in.

Your 400 MH is way to far, its need to be closer, which will help speed up metabolism and let her eat the nutrients you are giving her. Your leafs look like there is something going on with your PH, not knowing your mediums PH is probably how you arrived at this problem.

There are too many nutes causing the top to get dark green and the bottom tips to become burned. That is how you will know if you are nute burning which your pics looks like it is.

Looks overwatered too... Why just 1 gal pots? Could you have damaged the roots over/underwatering?

Discolored and Dying Leaves. Help!

My plants are look pretty good at the top of but the lower leaves are starting to brown at the tips and with yellowing edges and eventually die. Please help me figure out the problem. Thanks.
How long has this problem been going on? 2 Weeks
What STRAIN are you growing? Northern Lights
What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) Seed
What is the age of your plants? 1 month 1 week
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now? 3 weeks
How Tall are the plants? 16 inches
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? Vegetative
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) Light LST
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot) 1 gal.
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using?(percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) FFOF to 30% perlite.
What Nutrient's are you using? Natural Humus and Alaskan Fish emollition
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful* 1 tbsp per gallon each
How often are you feeding? Every other watering.
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients? NA
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect) NA
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used? NA
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"? Don’t know.
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen? None
How often are you watering? When the plants feel light 4-7 days
When was your last feeding and how often are you feeding? Few days ago, every other watering.
What size bulb are you using? 400 mh
What is the distance to the canopy? 16 in
What is your RH Factor? (Relative Humidity) Don’t know
What is the canopy temperature? 78 F
What is the Day/Night Temp? (Include fluctuation range) 70-78
What is the current Air Flow? (cfm etc.) 120 CFM
Tell us about your ventilation, intake exhaust and when its running and not running ? Running exhaust passive intake.
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? No
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? No
Is your water HARD or SOFT? Don’t know.
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? RO water.
Are you using water from a water softener? No
Has plant been recently pruned, cloned or pinched? No
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? Neem oil with natural soap. 1 week ago.
Are plant's infected with pest's? Can ‘t see the spider mites so I hope they are no more.

Thanks for the replies. I thought that 14 inches for a 400w was the best height to have your lamp above your plants. I have them in 1 gallon pots till I can sex them then I was going to put them into 10 gallon pots. I guess Ill need to go get ph strips. When the plants were seedlings I did have some overwatering issues but I thought that I had fixed that letting the pots dry out almost completely.
