sunnyside

Plant Manager
Veteran
Pure Blend Pro
Derived from fish meal, composted seabird guano, seakelp, spirulina, soybean protein extract, rock phosphate, bone ash, potassium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate, humic acid. Also contains non-plant food ingredients: Humic Acid 7.0% Leonardite.

Original Pure Blend
Derived from blood meal, seabird and bat guano, earthworm castings, fish meal, seakelp and blue-green algae, this compost tea solution is ideal for use prior to and during flowering and fruiting. Can be used in soil and hydroponics. Best when combined with soluble nutrient

Maybe what BOG was trying to say was that he liked the original formula over the pro series. This is a great example of why we should all be very carefull of what we put on the forums. You would be suprised to know how many people take what they read here as the absolute truth, when in reality, it seldom is.

I've just started feeding with the PBP early last week. It was left over from a hydro grow a couple of years ago. That may be something as well. .

Yeah I wouldnt recomend using nutes that are that old. Especially organic nutrients...

Have the plants perked up any?

I got disgusted with the slow growth, so I took 'em out of the dirt, rinsed the roots, and stuck 'em into a dwc w/ G.H.'s "Maxi-Gro" (a dry nute for vegging hydro). They're perking up now! They're under a home-built light that's got one 175w MH & one 150w HPS side-by-side.

I'm pretty sure the reason for the slow growth was the wildly fluctuating temps in the grow room, coupled with poor soil PH and the flouro's not being bright enough. I'm going to have to take the time to redo my grow room - make sure that I can maintain a relatively constant environment for the plants. Temps currently fluctuate between 61 - 87 deg-F. I feel like that's to wide a margin.

Thanks again for all the input. I'd be lost without y'all.

Try 18/6 instead of 24/7 or something with a rest period 20/4 etc... plants are like humans they like a rest period often they probably are stressed from no sleep that's just my :2cents: goo' luck

what sort of evidence do you have to support your claim Chronic Future??? That is a bullshit claim bro...dont throw that crap out on the boards.

I am not a pbp stockholder or anything, but I support the truth.

i'm according to sunnyside....the new line of PBP it's completely diverse in concept from the past version(as the table of ingredients can speak as well as me).. and probably is better for soil than old version cause it bring more principles than the original.

and probably it have used a poor soil with a too acid water...(i've heard that PBP get down the ph and liquid karma too) ..so test it if u want to be sure of what u act ..cause some liquid can lift up the ph and some others the reverse.

other question is the time that the fertilizers pass in the bottle...it can depends on the place where u store them..and if u make some mystake with it ;for example the cap not closed or put some to the measure tools and it back to the bottle..(especially with complete organics)

if all the parameters (temp, light, space for roots and ventilation ) are good enough ...so u can hit in the balls the company manager of the fertilizers ehehehehehehe :bat: :dueling:

and say SHIT HAPPENS !!!!! but not another one time ...u don't steal me 2 times eheheheheheeh :woohoo:

CIAOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
