Well, these blueberry seem to be extremely dense, and extremely resilient. They root extremely well any time I take a cut, and although I see the anomalous leaf here and there, they have a very nice structure overall.

The biggest thing I've noticed is the stems are very woody, and not nearly as flexible as my sk#1 was. I split the main stalk on one plant, but I just taped it and let it go. Didn't seem to phase it at all. One tought booger. The woody stalks do seem to be more desirable to the scale pests though. Their attacks on these plants are much more persistent than on others with the more green stalks.

They can take a ton of food, they eat like frickin hogs. Very significant difference from the sk#1 and the skum. Their density makes it hard to get as many tops at once in a small screen, and vegging for so long and trying to keep them going across the screen has created a serious tangled web of branches underneath unlike any other strain I've grown.

So far the only odor I pick up is pungent and earthy when I rub them, but the scent is not full on from all the pest spraying I'm sure.

That's about all I can say right now. I can't wait to see how they flower out. Btw, I really appreciate the compliments, but I'm just one of those fellaz that struggles along with growing for years on end. I'm still waiting for a perfect, pest free crop. Ah hell, maybe next time, lol. :joint:

Patolunga- great to have you stop by again man, im happy with how big they are getting. I will be doing my best to keep the senoritas happy and dont worry about the english, my spanish is a little poor so it goes both ways heh. I have had bad health for some time but this year things are looking up finally... i have been loving life much more lately. I will talk to you later hombre :D Peace

Stoned- Very good to hear man, i love a fast rooter, and a hearty grower. the woody stem thing can be good (unless you like manipulating and training plants) to keep branches from breaking and such. i personally love super cropping plants and tying branches. the strains that eat a ton of nutrients seem to be less picky as well which is a nice thing just feed them until they are happy :D

if your still having problems with pests sounds like this was the strain to go with, other than their pain in the ass growing style for what your trying to accomplish.

im sure that odor will pick up greatly in flower too :joint:

o and i was going to add, if a grow went perfect everytime and there were no problems than how would that be to judge someones skills... the true sign of a good grower is running into these difficulties which come up sometimes and pull through the best possible.

i will be talking to you guys.. going to try to upload some photos... i put some florescent lights out and took pictures of the ladies... i think they turned out pretty good.

Alijah- hey there  glad you enjoy watchin the garden unfold... i get great joy out of tending to the gals and keeping them happy. they really seem to be stabilizing more and more that they establish in the ground. Sorry to hear about the poor weather you guys are experiencing, hope mother nature is find and decides to give you guys some sunshine and warmth. I will talk to you later.

Mossy- Very nice to have you stop by, and im glad you liked that moon photo, i rather enjoy it myself. as long as the girls are happy im happy so it works out rather well lately. I personally love to super crop no matter how much room im working with but im very happy to hear its working well for you, it really helps support weight too. Your ladies are looking very lovely yourself, and i wish you a bountiful harvest and many more to come. :headbange

Hey Subnoizekid, nice having you stop by again. im very happy about the progress of the ladies other than this inbetween stage of veg and flowering. i wish everyone could grow in the free outdoor sun, it is a great experience working with mother nature. just having more space for training, tying down and manipulating plants is always enjoyable. Hope everything is going well for you and hope to talk to you soon man :joint:

Well well well...... i have some new additions to the garden :jump: that i will be listing at a later date... they are all still small but hopefully with the proper care will be taking off in no time :D all i can say is they are very good crosses, and i will have to straighten things out later as they grow seeing nothing was labeled and things were transported fast.

here is a recap of everything i have decided to keep up to date.

Strawberry kush, purple kush, 818 og kush, super silver haze( or some sort of haze) odyssey, snocap, blueberry, grapefruit, sour diesel, hindu kush x skunk, thunderskunk, a handful of purps male crossed with afghani and a few other mothers, pot of gold(seedlings) pog x sour diesel ibl (either male or female)

cant remember any other right this second, Possibly more to come.

i scrapped the trainwreck, bubbleberry, and unfortunately the SSHxkush.

more pictures later on.

hey Skar- great to have you stop by the garden and check out the ladies. I sure would love to have some monster ladies going this year and believe that many will be. I do my best with them and they seem to reward my work with them. Feel free to stop by and say high whenever you want to, im usually around :joint:

heres a few pictures of interest.

a sunset a captured a while back on a trip.

a little night shot with a light up so i didnt have to use flash... i think next time it will work out much better just using flash... the pictures didnt come out that clear.

catch you all later on.

ive noticed you put lights on them once and a while(or do you often) even to take pics and stuff. you dont worry about hermie issues. i think you mentioned you use them to help out sometimes. am i right? i thought i had a hermie issue last year as i looked at them in the dark one night and then got a few seeds in that area all of the sudden.(just that branch) about 15 total out of the whole plant. maybe i caught somebody else's grow, but i was seriously thinkin my flashlight did something. your opinion is welcomed.

though we can see there will be monsters in this garden soon enough :joint:

I second little j;
I've 'experienced' that light interferences during the night can induce hermies, IN and OUTdoors (room light when showing to buddies, public lighting, neighbor hallogen...).
However, in my experience, the whole plant became hermy, not the exposed area only.

Looks like things are coming along nicely Dime. That's a hell of a lineup you have there as keepers. Looks like you'll have a nice variety of top notch herbs to work with. I love to see the herb doing her thing in the great outdoors. That's another reason I need to get to Cali. It seems as though the outdoor is just as big as the indoor scene, if not bigger. Well, glad to see you doing your thing to the fullest. Keep up the great work my man. :rasta:

woooooooo that was some work.

well i was just out in the garden for a while trying to square a few things away that needed to get done. going to be introducing another 10 to 12 babies to the garden shortly... hopefully things should really start filling in.. cant wait till i cant walk through the garden, kind of have to wade through the foliage.

Little J- the lights that i do have going are not just turned on randomly... there is shade in the afternoon so i flip em on to give the ladies more light right up until dusk at this point... they are still struggling between flower and veg and i am trying to turn that around. as far as hermies i will definitely have to keep an eye out... especially with as many strains as i am running. not sure a flashlight would cause hermies... not something i could give you an educated opinion on. Ill catch you later on.

Trapik- nice seeing you stop by again man, your ladies are starting to take shape as well. light problems can definitely be a problem but im not too worried about it... i will pull any plants that give me a problem... plus with how bright the moon is most of the time a bit extra light never really seems to hurt much....

my biggest problem with hermies would probly be how they were introduced to outdoors... i was very busy earlier this spring and was not intent on how i started them outside and jumped the gun a bit....

usually i will bring them out for a few hours at a time for at least a few weeks but i got anxious and just put them out almost directly... also i fucked up by starting them on 24 hours light in February or whenever i started these first ones. over all im not expecting too many problems... Pest will be my biggest difficulty probably. Lost over 16 oz last year to worms and mold... dont need that happening this year.

Krome- great to have you stopping back around, nice to see you are finding interest in the garden. they sure are starting to take off now as long as i can keep them vegging. I am very happy with the genetics running this year and will most likely be selecting a male to cross off to most of the females this year... at least 1 branch each and leave that branch on till late season till the seeds really mature.

i enjoy a good indoor run.... but i feel its almost just play... i really enjoy working with mother nature even when she gives me a fucked up season... i can handle it and make up for any loss with the next round through winter.

You most certainly do need to get to cali, not only are alot of suffering people being relieved with very little hassle but many people are able to grow the meds which they need. plus we have beautiful weather and for the most part friendly people.

i would say the amount of people who threw a 1k in their closet and started growing really grew with leaps and bounds but with the laws the way they are its giving more people the security to step outside and grow the way cannabis was intended.

and i will be doing my best to keep the gals happy... Hope to catch you soon and i must say some of your photos need to be nominated for Photo of the month, you take some very nice pictures.

will be talking to you guys

Hail the leaf

Dime
