Digital Scales - QUick help

J

Jack Crevalle

I need to run here in the next few minutes to get a digi scale.
Where can I get one aside from a Smoke Shop?
Please help as I need one in the next hour or so. Radio Shack does not sell them. Does Target? Home Depot?
Help is highly appreciated!
peace

Look up scales in the phonebook. If your weighing ferts to make your own nutes, accurate to .1 gram should be ok.

Meh, maybe your big city Home Depots will have Digi's, but mine don't. I picked mine up at a headshop...never been in a headshop that didn't have them for sale.

So I went to HD and they had no scales what so ever. Office Depot only had letter scales, and basic kind that do not weigh in smaller increments. I want it for cooking etc. and small amounts.
The nearest smoke shop is too far away from here because I needed it soon. Anyway, I'll just wait until later and go to a smoke shop. I'll eyeball it for now.

I got my old one from ebay, and it too was only like 30 bucks + 10 for shipping. Like glass, they have droppe in price due to competition in this city, so smoke shop prices hover close to $60. Anyway, thanks for the quick responses! Icmag is amazing.

1 Thin Metal Hanger
1 Toothpick
2 baggies

Counter weights: 1 US nickle weighs pretty spot on at 5.0g and US bills weigh 0.97g

Cut bottom off hanger and bend nibs to hold bags on each side. Tape toothpick to edge of table and rest hanger on the toothpick. Bend top of hanger to use as a zeroing level. As accurate as a digital? probably not.. but its better than guessing.

Update.. I recently used this method to weigh out 7-8 grams. I had difficulty reading the straightened out hook part as the level until... I was looking directly down on top of it.

So I loaded up each side with 7 US bills in each and looked at the level.. then loaded one with another bill to see what one gram diff looks like on side 'A' .. then loaded up side 'B' with two more bills to see what one gram diff looks like on that side.

Then I packed one bag with one US nickle and two bills. Put weed in the other baggie and leveled it till it looked like the weed side was about one gram heavy. The friend weighed it on his digital scale and it weighed 8 grams give or take a tenth or two. So I would say this method is plenty accurate enough for weed.

I still think if you're going to be weighing out bags it's easier to spend the $20 on a cheap digital scale. However using a coathanger to weigh out weed is pretty ingenious, never even heard of something like that before.

Your missing the point. You'll get it if you ever get busted and they haul your evidence into court as you keep saying that you never sold any weed when their holding up your $20 digital scale and whatever random baggies they found in the kitchen.

Mfg is one count.. mfg with intent to distribute is a whole lot worse. Burden is on them to prove 'intent to distribute'.. give them a $20 scale and you give them the proof.
