Digital electric meter

It used to be the dogs next door gave me plenty of warning the meter man was here,so I shut everything down real quick.I got sick this is my first grow since early last summer and they switched out my analog for a digital meter.Do these folks have to physically read the digital meters or do they take the reading from their vehicle?Someone told me this and I put a stick in his eye for his shit news.Is it true?I normally go 6 am to 6 pm so I've been off all morning except for the incandescent.May just have to be shut down all day for safety.O if you're wondering my electric bill gives the date of next months reading pretty nice of them lol.I keep my veg lites going but shut down the 3 1K vertizontals.For all I know he's come and gone already

You're overthinking the situation. Not sure exactly how many lights you are running but unless you running like 10k in lights I wouldn't be concerned. With all that's going on in the world today I don't think there are people reviewing electric bills trying to find people growing pot

Smart meters can 'see' everything, including the regular power boost on at 6am-6pm, tho you are smart to be paranoid, many other things can take the same surge, metal shop/fish tanks, etc etc hobbies that people do, just not on the the tell tale 12x12, look towards camouflaging your huge and regular consumption is all

Modern meters use the cell/mobile phone network to talk to HQ, and yeah in many states meter readers are rewarded for their tip offs ....stay sharp
