Diesel Ryder

but its not a true weight people who read that info would of thought that the diesel ryder was a monster when you posted your 80g weight when in reality its more likley to be around 40g which i would class as average but by no means anywhere near what can be achieved in a hydro grow, i would expect the diesel ryder to double that if grown with ponics.

When I posted weight it was close to 2 days dry. A lot of growers around these parts sell it a lot more wet than when i took my numbers. I'm in it for personal use only. I've messed with hydro before it seems to lose more weight when drying. This is my first outdoor venture and i like it better than indoors. You can't beat mother nature's light bulb. I started this thread late do to no digital camera. My next thread I will be way more thorough. I'm getting ready to do 20 sour 60's under 2 1000's.:bandit:

I will be looking forward to that grow :dance013:

appologises if that seemed a bit negative towards your achievements but earleir on in the thread you did post that "who said soil cant match hydro " on page 1

but if your gonna make up your own weights and not give the realistic dry weights then people will be getting incorrect info and assume you pulled 80g dry and not the just over an oz in realastic terms

i wish you all the best with ya next grow and hope you can beat what you just got from this crop, keep up the good work :good:

I know soil don't yield as much as hydro. I'm in it for personal use only. Most hydro I've smoked tasted a lot like chemicals YUCK! Not saying all hydro is bad, I like the taste of weed the way god grew it in dirt. If i was a dealer I would go for yield=hydro.
When i took my weights i bagged it and threw it in the freezer. Im able to roll a joint so its not as sticky as you think. Besides most people growing autos in dirt don't realize that you need to start the seed in the pot its going to finish in. Its crucial for the roots to have space in the short time it vegging. I read something like that from one of these senior members. So if your growing in dirt you better use a 5 gallon pot at least to get a better yield.

i only grow for personal use a lot of the stuff grown hydro on mass is rushed , sprayed and has had stuff added to it, if you grow hydro for your own personal usage you tend to do things proper and by that i mean flushing your plants before chopping them which removes any chemicals in the plant

most if not all the weed in holland is grown in hydro and id put some of my hydro grown smoke against any soil grown smoke and see which tastes best ;)

maybe you should try a hydro grow yourself and see the difference in yield and taste maybe even try a hempy or krusty bucket with organic nutes, its exactly the same as growing in soil but with bigger yield and your using only natural foods,im sure once you have tried it you wont go back to soil :)

if your gonna put in the time to grow out a plant then your gonna want the best return from your efforts

keep it real bro

I've grown hydroponically 10 years ago. I did a ebb and flo style for 2 harvests. There wasn't low maintenance organic food in hydro in 99. I hear people doing quite well out of the krusty and hempy buckets. I would like to see someone do a hempy bucket outside in the sun. Maybe i will try it next year. It seems like hydro is more fluffy and when it dries it really loses a lot of weight. My herbs in soil seem more dense. Your speaking on Holland where the standards are very high and there is a lot of competition. If your stuff is sought after there you got yourself some premium product. I'm living in the midwest of the U.S. Growers here call there own shots and they will monopolize even with trashy product, as long as its got bag appeal. I will not buy weed from growers here because $350 an oz. is robbery. I can go get mexican cartel weed for a $100 an oz. all day long. Most people don't believe good smoke comes out of mexico. They push a lot of garbage but my connect only buys there best. You got to be picky. I know a bunch of dealers and they know don't call me unless its good.

fluffy buds are down to a number of things mate not because its grown in ponics

sativas have big fluffy buds where as idicas have nice tight buds and indica x sativas are some where inbetween :)

also humidity and temps play a part in how tight your nugs are

sounds like you got your shizzle together over in your corner of the globe

and im in the uk fella if i was living in adam i wouldnt be growing my own ;)

take it easy

I use to chase money all the time and did quite well. In my older age I'm in it for maintaining a buzz. My highroller days are over. I read your blue chedda thread which was composed quite nice.:rtfo: I notice the price of herb is exspensive also. I have a couple questions outside the box about the U.K. I heard you folks get good hashish over there. How about herb? I know theres domestic growers but any imports? I just want to compare markets.:smoweed:

what kind of person doesn't let their buds dry out for at least 7 days? that's the stupidest thing i've ever read. 80 grams at 2 days? you'll end up with 40 grams if you dry them correctly.

on the bold. that is so very wrong. i do it all the time. i start regular in 16oz cups and transfer them into pots then move them outdoors once they have shown sex. never once have a noticed a loss in yield when compared to feminized seedlings that were put in the pots that they would be finishing in.

Like i said before it was dry enough to roll a joint. I understand that its not cured out. I put the stuff in my freezer and i been opening it up periodically.

It was something I read here in these forums. I started all of my autos in small pots except the one i just got a big yield off of. I started it in a 7 gallon pot. I figure my next plant will be in the 2 oz. range i'm hoping. I'm not to worried about the numbers because I'm not trying to get paid just wasted.

mean Grow.

Are autoflowers all good with being transplanted, like keep them in small cups then transplant them into 2-3 litre pots outdoors.

And what autoflower would you recommend for outdoors that can take cold nights and makes some decent bud ?

Cheers
