Do you use a jeweler's loupe or anything else to check the color of your trichs? If you do, are you keeping up with that progress at all to help determine when and which plants get harvested? I'm sure even though they mostly look similar, there are different pheno types in there that mature at different rates. Regardless, it looks like you've got some dank and tasty pot to smoke and more on the way! I'm upping my guess on yield to 103 can I do that??

Yeah Im using a 30x loupe. There had been maybe 10% amber trichs on all the plants for a few days before I chopped the 2 little ones, and now tonight some plants have what I would say is 20-25% amber. I will probably chop 2 more tonight, not quite sure though.
Nice grow man. A friend of mine is also growing DR. He has 2 going now. They are 2 weeks old but look nothing a like. These 2 got stressed real bad. I think the peat dried up on him. for a day or more a couple times... At one point they were stems only every thing else dried up and nearly fell off. I thought they were going to die but they pulled through and here they are.
DR 1
DR 2
The DR are in the skull cups.
Both DR's were planted on the same day. But as you can see not all plants are created equal. The leaves and size are so different. Did you have that much variation in yours?
Well, there was definitely quite a few different sized plants out of the original 20 I started, but none of them looked anything liek your DR2. The leaves seem much thinner than all the DRs Ive grown, but hey, maybe its a crazy variation that will look totally different, that culd be fun too
Horrific? Those are beautiful! I never knew they could develop purple color on the buds. I got 2 seeds of DR i'm going to be running with 3 LR1's soon. If I get a male i'm gonna cross them whether it's DR x DR or LR1 x DR.
Thanks for sharing your soil and nutes, that's what i'm trying to get together. I like the sounds of going organic as possible now though. I prefer a good taste, smoke, and high above anything else. Would your nutes be considered organic?
Edit: You grew those in 2 liter bottles and they didn't seem to get that tall. I'm planning to use 20 or 32 oz gatorade bottles. Ever try those? How do you think these would fair in them? I don't really know, but i'm guessing there might not be much of a difference and dropping to to a container smaller than a 2 liter bottle would allow more space and possibly more plants.
I would say that my nutes are not completely organic. I used a bit of organic blood meal for the first 2 weeks in the soil, then put some organic bone meal in the new soil when they went into the 2 liters. The non organic part was the Schultz 10-15-10, and I used this mainly because I dont like ordering online for this stuff and there are no hydro shops in my state, let alone my area As far as the Gatorade bottles go, you should be fine as long as you make sure to really flush them every time you water, and make sure your soil doesnt compact too much or you will be waiting 15+ minutes for each one to drain. Alternatively you can dip them up to the top of the soil until they stop bubbling like Dr BudGreengenes does. HERE is a link to his awesome thread, he uses 20oz soda bottles cut to 16oz!!
Thanks to everyone for the kind words and feedback. I will make sure to take some nice detailed pics of each plant I harvest as I harvest them, and at the end Ill post all 8 weekly pics so you can watch them grow all over again
Peace
