Diesel Generator suggestions - 10kw

I know some guys that ran a 30k grow off a 60kw diesel gen. As they related the experience to me it was a constant pita..
They sold the property (generator and grow equip) and now someone else is trying their hand at it.
It seems like a cool idea but it won't seem that cool in the middle of winter when ur gen breaks down n ur scrambling to keep ur plants from freezing...
That said if there is a will there is a way.. Just know what ur getting into.
