as for the change in moderation style, it's no secret that we are trying something new recently by allowing these kind of discussions, IF, they remain civil. but making it about us against them is no help what so ever to anyone in this regard. talk about individual issues if you want to be taken seriously rather then generalizations about winning. where are you (the US) winning? what situation? what will be the price? who is doing the losing so you can be winning? we need details if we are to accept the premise.
if you mean America is winning because there are more jobs, then i agree, things seem to be going well economically speaking for the US. how much of that wealth comes from making and selling bombs to kill people on the other side of the world i wonder? would you American even mind? lets say it costs 1'000'000 dead Arabs every year, but for that the US stays prosperous (keeps winning), would you make the deal? what number would you accept?

Most people on the planet can only see most of these people/politicians we talk about as entertainment, since they don't even get to vote for them, what else does the rest of the world make of Trump - Clinton's - Obama or any of these western politicians that certain members get so passionate about?
OK the USA has nuclear weapons, the same as India, China, Pakistan, Israel, Russia, UK, France.....maybe N.Korea...and probably Iran (did I miss anyone?)...probably.
Anyone of those nuclear powers is as likely to use a nuclear weapon as another in my mind......so I don't take sides....they are all as bad as one another, as we all worry about security more and more in this day and age, all of this international posturing by certain 'actors' and the lies that we are told to try and convince us that we are the good guys, and all of this expense and mayhem is all in such a good cause......makes my skin crawl.

I do not identify with any party. I use my common sense to vote appropriately. Those that think any man holding the office of POTUS can behave the way he does has issues. He has always been a Con Man, Not someone you could trust, Has absolutely no moral or ethical character. Some of his policy's are fine. I doubt they where his ideas. His policy's are not why I don't think he is fit to be POTUS.
