Generally speaking, it’s never too soon to top, correct? Without mangling… or otherwise stunting or damaging the plant ..Even the second or third node? I’m of the mind to start as early as possible split them into two main stems, and then do it again for four stems…???

Ever try 4 stems from small and then tie out like an x after they grow 7 feet or so?
Have to tie a circle just above the split part with something so it doesnt split down the middle later.

second node is too early imo...

once, it was before 2000, I grew cut of super skunk outdoors. it was 3 meters tall and 3 meters wide.. it was crazy branchy... I have never grown so branchy plant from that time... branches grew from branches... it was crazy and I had to cut many inner branches, too weak and thin... huge yield of hashy lemon burnt rubber gum skunky smelling buds... super skunk needs like 60 days of flowering...

it had terribly come down... crashy and left you kind of bored and without energy... hahahaha
