Yup, I live in detroit ansd it's just about anything green they call "ghanz", I can get it for way way cheaper than what I am hearing about in here but you gotta get weight to get it like that. Like 1200 a lb. is about right. Gotta go to the poorest neighborhoods in highland park for that deal though and it is a bit scary. Like over near buena vista and 14th boy!

I'm sure you younger cats are right about what's goin' on today. I am referring to a particular type of bud that I used to get frequently in the mid 90's. some of us have truly experienced a "family" that had in years past been referred to in Detroit, as well as in Dallas & Houston Tx "ghanz" or Ghan. like most other strains such as: kush, haze, diesel, purp, in "the streets" all kinds of shit is passed off but I'm referring to those "in the loop", Ya Dig? I need to touch base with some old school growers from the D that would know more about specific strains, yada, yada, yada...

Obviously in the mitten whenever you have the fire people want it. "Sour diesel dro kush"???

But to clarify, even though im years late, the ghan was a real strain and very popular...very very popular. Whoever the breeders were/are have either disappeared or moved on. Everybody wants kush and the tree they smoke isnt even kush. A few years ago everybody was asking for purple kush or "the purp" so what does a real hustler do? Drop those flowering temps to make the purple.

Ive seen terrible airy mid grade bud go for 400 because it was purple.

Anyway, if anyone knows anything about the ghan, ghans, gan speak up. That strain is better than alot of shit on the top shelf. If not for the genetics alone.

Detroit born and raised and ganz was just a slang term for canadian bud just like dro was- now everybody in the hood calls anything with a potent smell kush.
