Thank you everyone. I will be commenting on the rest of the strains in the order they finished so the Panama will be next followed by the Zam.

Hey Jahaze.!! Great report and description off the taste and smell of Destroyer , I have the Fem also. I have grown it indoors and out, with the outdoor plant producing quite well and a bit more potent. To be honest I was a little disappointed in the potency overall. Nice high , I find it very mellowing, happy. Not what expected.Buds are nice , dense but spongy ,Look very similar to your pics.!!!!Would have to say . GT , Zam , and Panama would be in front of it. But I'm glad you got a good pheno bro.

Holeshot I understand what you mean about the potency. When I first tried it maybe 15 day cure it got me high but it wasn't spectacular. I had been smoking much heavier stuff with more of a physical effect and the destroyer didn't seem to match their potency. However, I stopped smoking the heavy stuff for the last 2 weeks and smoking strictly the sativa plants and noticed the difference. The Sativa high from destroyer I find very deceptively potent in that it alters your state of mind for a prolonged period and lets you ride out the experience without interference and is very pleasurable. I initially felt that the lack of overpowering physical effect let me down in terms of the potency but I wasn't used to such a clean and clear high...making this high feel lighter and airy but that still you are very high for long time. I have another plant that is similar in effect to the Destroyer but just has a touch of body effect making it feel stronger but i dont know yet since I'm still waiting for the full cure to see the finished product on the destroyer. I have been smoking the Panama and Zamal as well and can say they feel more much stronger but they are different types of highs. The destroyer won't put you on your ass thats for sure but the effect is absolutely fantastic. I really hope it does not change too much because i enjoy the high for daytime smoke.

Totally agree. Good social high , not racy or too over powering . Good to have with a few drinks and not get totally F#cked up.

One thing though I've noticed , it doesn't have too much of a ceiling . You definitely get higher the more you have. Would be great for edibles.

Panama Smoke Report

Panama Smoke Report

I took this one just about 14 weeks under LED. She grew with no problem and feed until first 6 weeks of flower because she was hungry. She was a bit leafy compared to the destroyer but was also much more productive. I think once I dial her in (i had issues between week 8-10) she will produce nicely. The smell was mostly lemony and incense during flower with a hint of spice.

5 day dry time and almost 4 weeks cure in glass jar.

The grind of the bud releases a marvelous lemon incense with a spicy haze twist and a strong smell of marijuana from the 80’s. Nothing like the modern cannabis nowadays with the boutique smells and flavor. It smells like old school sativas from years gone by….classic nose! The dry pull on the joint confirms the classic nature of the strain and makes you smile even before you light it. With the first pull it reminds me of good Colombian that was around in the 80’s when I first started smoking. The taste is simply something you don’t find often anymore…this is a real treat. The smoke is full bodied and the spice and haze twist comes through initially with a lemony bottom end that make the smoke taste really rich with great mouth feel. Adding to the experience is the smoke that comes off this girl…incense delight. It fills the room with the incense smell that ties the experience nicely. The effect start slowly with a heady effect that works its way to my eyes making them droop. It takes less than ten minutes and a warm sensation flows from your head down the back of my legs. She puts a grin on my face; I feel the eyes a bit heavier and a thick headiness but no grogginess whatsoever. That is the great thing about the Panamanian girl…she doesn’t knock you out. You function and actually feel like doing stuff but with droopy eyes and a stupid grin on your face… I love it! The first half of a joint gets you nice but if you continue to smoke the head effect intensify to the point of face pressure and ringing ears. You feel as if you are walking in a dream but everything is happy and colorful. The visual effect is unrestrained and I feel as if my peripheral vision has expanded and I can see everything…very nice trippy element for sure. Aside from the pulsing sensation in the back of my legs this thing is all head. You are alert but calm…very calm and chill. Your environment suddenly becomes very interesting and I found myself wanting to touch things for the tactile sensation alone. The main effect last about an hour and half but as she wind down you feel relaxed and alert and clears nicely…no sleepiness. I used this on late in the afternoon and even into early evening and she didn’t interfere with my sleep. This is not as clear as the destroyer but I like the effect better. Both are very happy effects and no paranoia and you don’t notice your heart rate at all. This was a very nice surprise for me and this one will definitely stay in my garden for a while.

Potency: 8.5/10. Although it doesn’t put you into a tailspin, taking too much does disorient you and I found myself walking into room but forgetting why. Reading anything takes focus because everything becomes incoherent at higher doses.
Taste: 9.5/10 for me there is just nothing better than that old school taste. Something about hazy/spicy herb with a limonene twist is irresistible.
Effect: 9/10. I think I said it all.

IMO, if you don’t like this strain there maybe something wrong with you…lol. I cant believe I hadn't tried this until now.

ps...i thought I had snapped some bud pics but I cant seem to find them. Ill post some later own.

Jahaze,

Let us know when are growing out the seeds that were created from Hawaiian pollen.
That would be really great to see!

Great job with the garden!

Hi Azure. The Hawaiian Spice pollen touched the Destroyer, Zamaldelica, and a Congo hybrid I had close by. The Panama seems to have been spared. I have already started the destroyer x HS and the Conroy x HS (Congo x jack from chimera). The Zamaldelica gave me 5 seeds total so I'm really looking forward to those...

Sorry for the delay on the zamaldelica smoke report...I'll have one up soon. I had one and somehow lost it on the computer. Anyhow, this is the destroyer on the second run...better development. She was done a week ago but did not have time to trim so I let her go another week and she started to throw new growth.

Zamaldelica Smoke Report - Fem seed from 2012.

Zamaldelica Smoke Report - Fem seed from 2012.

Sorry for the delay on the Zamal girl. I will get right into it: I only grew out a single Fem Zamaldelica along with the other three plants in this grow just to get a glimpse at what to expect. She grew easy and flowered with no real issue except being over watered and suffering some lockout for about two weeks. She responded well to very low feeding for the first six or so weeks into flower. This plant was cut after 15 weeks.

I light her up and take a slow but deep hit and i can taste the sweet minty wood on the exhale. The draw is smooth with little expansion in the chest. There is a mild floral note that accompanies the stronger minty wood flavor and after several hits a nice rich hashy taste develops that matches the minty wood flavor in intensity. I get about a third of the way down the joint and I begin to feel the effects building up. I first notice my heart rate increase but little or no effect in the head. The heart rate continues to increase and it feels like its pumping hard and then all at once I get head pressure, ringing in the ears and then warmth on my face. Boom! All of a sudden I'm high as hell. This thing comes out of nowhere and hits hard. With me, the pronounced tachycardia and the pressure last for about 15 minutes before they fall to the background. After those first uncomfortable 15 minutes the effects clears up and you are left somewhat clear headed but mental focus is completely absent. You mind wanders and your attention is periodically brought back to your heart rate which then makes you start thinking damn I’m so high right now! There is a bit of dissociation with stationary object which lends a bit of a triply quality to the effect. The effects also comes in waves from strong to very strong. The effects lasts about three solid hours and then she fades easy. I have shared this with some friends and some love the effect and others who get caught off guard by the effect have an unpleasant experience. I grew to like this plant very much but it took a while…it wasn’t love at first puff. This is not what i consider social weed or weed to focus on a particular activity. On a few occasions I’ve smoked this girl and then carried on whatever i was doing only to be subdued by the effects. When I smoke this plant I have to be ready to handle the effects otherwise it feels like I’m fighting against it. I wouldn’t use this daily if I want to get things done. This is for the special occasion where you want to take a trip to the moon. This is strong stuff.

Taste: 8/10 - I wish I got some of that sweet carrot pheno she is known to produce. The hash taste is a nice surprise. In the vape the taste improves greatly with a strong floral taste and sweet wood taste is really delicious.
Potency: 9/10 - I smoke every day and this thing still hits hard.
Effect: 8.5/10 - I like the effect but it can catch you off guard and potentially unpleasant. I find the effect is motivating and heady and keeps you going. I use it daytime or early evening. There is no noticeable body component to the high.

Final thoughts...this particular plant i think has a mix of the parents but lean more towards the malawi side. Can be devestating before a good cure smooths out the edges. I wish it had a bit more in the taste department but that may just be this particular plant. Overall an excellent representation of an equatorial strain bred from stability and quicker finish. Ace did a really great job with this plant and I see why many people rave about it.

Destroyer x Hawaiian Spice

Destroyer x Hawaiian Spice

This the offspring of the Destroyer pollinated by the Hawaiian Spice that started in this run but was culled because of intersex traits. The HS pollen also hit the zamaldelica and several others as well before I caught her...nature always wins. So here she is being constantly poked and prodded daily to check for any changes. She is in small 3.7l/1gl container just in case I had to toss her. If she proves her worth she'll get another round.

Hi Jahaze,

Thanks for update us with the Zamaldelica smoke report. I'm glad to know you rate her highly, and that you find her strong. Guess you didn't get a typical Zamaldelica pheno (or at least a pheno not so frequently seen or reported here in the forums), sounds like the very accelerated/adrenalized pheno, like being sent to the sky in a rocket .... maybe the effect can be a bit too much for people with tendency to suffer anxiety or paranoia, but certain sativa lovers really appreciate these kind of effects (so rare to find nowadays). These 'adrenalized' effects are usually not so long lasting like the other more psychedelic phenos. The minty aromas are also very hard to find nowadays, and it's always interesting when they pop up.

Hope you enjoy her! ;)

Hi dubi...I found the zamaldelica to be very good smoke. I agree the people I shared this with are not typical sativa lovers and some where not accustomed to the type of effect of equatorial plants. I ran the plant again and it just finished 14 weeks (didn't take pictures) and it is healthier than 1st run so I think the flavor will improve. I'll post another report on that run and compare. I also have a 5 zamaldelica seeds created from the pollen of the Hawaiian so I'll see how those turn out as well. After smoking your varietal, I'm am really interested in the Malawi side.
