Side by side. Hawaiian on the left and the Zamaldelica on right. They are pretty even height wise. The Hawaiian is a bit fuller and the Zamaldelica a bit more branching otherwise identical. Of course the Hawaiian has started to flower while the Zamaldelica is just starting to pre flower after three weeks. My guess is it will be done last unless once she develops she steps on the gas. The Zamaldelica version is from 2013 with the fast flowering golden tiger dad so we will see if that comes into play later on. I have reserved 15 weeks for the four plants in the flower room. With 12 weeks to go it looks like maybe three will finish by then provided the environment stays favorable. Definitely the Panama will be my guess to finish first.

bad news for the Hawaiian spice...she exhibited intersex traits and has been culled. This morning I checked on the garden and saw pollen on one of my other females in the room. After some investigation I saw that it was the Hawaiian girl which in the span of three days produced sacks and released some in the room. Not a big deal but as I was removing her the movement released a puff of pollen that was quickly swept away by the fans in the room and my heart sank. I should've stopped the fans and then pull out the plant...rookie mistake, I know better! Anyway, had to pull everything out, spay the other plants with generous amount of water and wipe down the room. There is no question pollen fell on the two plants next to the Hawaiian ( a blockhead hybrid and a Congolese) I just hope nothing else was hit. Anyway, I'm down to three of Sativa's from this grow...destroyer, panama, zamaldelica. I have grown out the Hawaiian Spice before and still have a plant from a previous run with no issues. I don't think it was environmental or stress...simply this particular plant had the trait.

They look fantastic and if your lucky you one of the seeds could be super killer but then I'm always the optimist.

Lookin mighty nice there JH.

Thanks mrS0ul, I'm bummed the Hawaiian is out but I still have the other three. Since the remaining plants are either ace or CBG, I'm moving the thread to that forum. Follow the link. I'll pick up where this thread left off.

Very nice Report and comperison of the plants :tiphat:
Panama is on my list also, would love to read comparison to zamaldelica.

Zamaldelica has some strong body effect, but it doesn't make you tired or stone like indica, hard to describe.
Feels like your body is a bit disconnected, walking on clouds without much feedback from your muscles.

For a strain wihout any body effect i recommend you 8 Miles High from Mandala and to harvest early. Gives excellent yield, but is neither very strong or tasty. Duration is short also, 2 max 3 hours with smooth and nice come down. Head high is quite clear and positive.
