Designing a trailer mounted grow room. IDEAS WANTED

Benny I don't know if you ever mentioned this, but do you plan on running this in an urban/suburban environment with people everywhere or you gonna try and rent spots out in the country? The whole idea of stealth is gonna be a moot point if you have a trailer with a condenser running in the back yard of a house in the burbs. If thats the case I think it'd be a cool idea to put the compressor close to your house and set it up so it looks like its just part of the mechanical for the residence, then dig a shallow trench and run your lines out to the trailer underground. Use compression fittings so you can unhook in a hurry and worst case you lose a little line set, best case is you have a day to dig it up and bounce but either way it'd prob be less suspicious to the neighbors

Flowerfarmer- not noisy at all. Drawing and pushing through lights and up out the top never made any noise. My ac was just a portable unit not a window unit. Worked great. Yielded well and i sold it as a turn key unit later on. I originally got the idea from a friend who did a 20x8 in his front yard and managed to pull it off for over 3 years lol

It's cool. But realistically, I'd probably just put a down payment on a house and blow up the basement with the money that this is going to cost. Sweet idea though. Let us know how it goes.

ya if I could just go buy a house and dedicate it, I would. But I have a life to maintain and having a secret house I can not let family into wont really fly to well.

The trailer will be in my wood shop I rent out. It will never be parked outside. The compressor can run all day long in my wood shop, the only one inside is me for the most part. If I have a customer come around ill just unplug the trailer and switch over to battery power to run the carbon filters and o2 pumps.

The reason for the trailer is my annual fire inspections and landlord check ups. All I would have to do is hook it up to the truck and go park it on the street or my home garage for the 45 mins the landlord would be around.

I could probably even just lock it up and leave it in the shop and unplug the shore power. A 6x12 trailer in a wood shop is pretty much expected.

And like I said before, 95% of people dont even know what an a/c condenser is, half of society would probably think its a damn spare tire or something else equally retarded.

and on a side note to add to my opinion of American society...lol...I had a run in with 4 sheriff deputies the other day. I was at a park with my dog and they were out randomly ID'ing people. Keeping it short, I refused their requests and countered by asking if the know what the 4th Amendment was and not a single dumb shit could answer my question.

I then had to explain to them that they are working for an elected official, the country sheriff. In which his authority is given by that election from the people which he represents and when one of the constituents of that county ask a sheriff deputy for three forms of identification, it must be presented when working in a official uniform delegating the power in which the people of the country have given the elected sheriff.

Basically they were completely stupid, and appeared startled by their own ignorance and refused to identify themselves. I told them to leave me alone because I felt threaten because 4 unidentified individuals were standing in front of me with deadly weapons. They then walked away and stopped their harassment. lol it was classic.

I could also get a portable A/C unit with dual hoses and cut some vents into the roof to run the hoses. That would eliminate the whole problem but those portable a/c units are 10000btus at best I think?

They go to at least 12K. I'm using a 12K danby unit modded to be a two port with pretty good results. Its not what I would prefer to do but it is what circumstances dictated.

I used a 15,000 btu unit in my 32 ft toy hauler and it was more than enough BUT i did park my trailer under a nice shade tree for extra cooling. The portable units are the only way to go for stealth purposes in a toy hauler

Benny that's freaking perfect that you have a shop to park in, so are you a cabinet maker or framer or what? I'm in the trades as well always cool to see someone in the same field on here. The coolest thing about all this is you can write off the power bill on your taxes, fuck you Uncle Sam!
