Denver Medical Outdoor Advertising ban

A

ak-51

Were they advertising it like "we can provide you with exceptional quality medicine at a reasonable price" or "come get a sack that will get you stoned!"?

im curious what neon signage did to get such a bad rap, probably all those beer signs in bars.

if you give ammunition to the prohibitionists, they'll use it against you.

we should have learned this lesson by now imo...

people should find out what advertisement routes are still open as of now, and use them wisely.

peace

advertising routes still open: print, tv and radio.
print being the only real practical alternative, cost prohibitive tv & radio in many cases

BTW:
newly legalized recreational marijuana is banned entirely from all advertising.... shame, i saw an RTD train wrapped entirely in crown royal ads the other day..... and billboards for casinos, TV ads for new fukn slot machines at the casinos.....

like i said before in this thread...
outdoor advertising ban on MMJ in denver paved the way for an all out ban on recreational cannabis across the entire state. does that sound like regulate marijuana like alcohol? when alcohol can be openly advertised in all kinds of media?

imo
outdoor advertising bad set the wrong tone by implying that even the image or words advertising cannabis is still not welcome in the public forum, even if it is entirely legal across the state.

I stand by my (unpopular) opinions.
