anyone hit up the max yield grow expo in denver this weekend?

lots and lots of free goodies, and a chance to pick some of these companies brains via their sales reps. nice to put a face with some of these companies also.... you never know what kind of heady ex-tour rat owns a nute company now....

among the most interesting schwag i picked up was a few packs of harpin protiens for foliar spray.... axiom

lots of thirts and hats, got a nice stash from H&G, nothing wrong with free drip clean and roots excelurator. (in addition to the A&B multi green & their zyme.)
also interesting to me was a company out of fort collins selling some special biochar and their special paramagnetic rock dust... from basalt, thought those 2 were interesting.... couldnt get a biochar sample but got a bigass thing of the paramag.
I spent a good abount of time at a booth selliing ceramic metal halide bulbs and fixtures..... ya i almost got sold on the bandwagon... thei are killing it with the light readings of those bulbs, and they are made to be hung vertically...... me likee! bright as fuck as should be expected also.
several LED comapanies, one really stood out, soleus tek is using UV "led" then filtering the UV to get the "colors" they need and want.... all the other LED people were just..... normal. like to be expected, purps and blues and reds.... these soleus tek leds looked just like hps and mh light when they turned it on....

fun times.

went today, it was the open to the public day, as yesterday was the "industry day"
mofos were waaay more stingy with their schwag, some actually asking for money today for sample shit.... fuckin lame. no free lighters today even....

also much less "technical support" going on my friend asked Botanicare peeps about their shit, cuz that's what he's always run, they said "go online". HA.
Botanicare is on some bunk shit right now, imvho. not the products the offer they are fine as far as i care, but the new enriched coco medium they offer is called "Slacker". and for a botanicare backpack, they were stamping peoples foreheads with a big stamp that said "slacker" in big black letters. not cool, let's big up ourselves.... whatever, that's my just my opinion.

still a good time, just different on the different days thats for sure.

one of the most impressive booths there was some company selling ceramic metal halide setups.... very interesting, prolly best lights i saw there, 500$ or so for a 900w bulb and ballast, uses any fixture for normal HID lights. also very nice spectrum profile they had on it, crazy similar to the sun....

It was nice ,but not as big as I had expected !!
Spent some time with the Aptus guys great conversation also excel air guys learned alot from both those booths.
The place was full of kids with there hands out looking for free stuff that is why they were being stingy with it . hell I saw one guy had enough shit he needed a truck to carry it all out the door . I got some great info and contacts from this show just wish it had been bigger !!
