a study come out says denmark happiest people in the world ,U.S. was 23rd.greenland was 4th just the name GREENLAND makes me happy just stoned thought i'd share some useless information with everyone
That wouldn't surprise me, but it'd be helpful for everybody including yourself if you could include a source when you mention data from studies

whatever.. denmark truly is a beautiful place, if i could choose one country to live in, it would be high on my list. been there a few times, and going again this summer (roskilde festival).

Denmark used to be a peacefull place.......but we got a new government:-(
Christiania (a kind of small country within the country) is being demolished and used as a trainingground for police stormtroopers....christiania used the be a "free" cannabis state.
The "peoples house" (a house where womens international "fight" day was formed) was sold to a cult a torn down....even though it was given to the youthes of denmark long ago.
Video surveillance and search zones are being set up.
A "nazi" political party is in power

yeah, it is a bit of a shame about the right-wing dominance, but it seems to be a problem not specific to denmark, but to a lot of countries in europe in general. I suppose it have something to do with the political displacement of the working class into a middle-class. Especially since it seems, that there is no concept of the society as a whole inherent in the life of the middleclass - in other words:the middleclass is mostly centerede around their own self-centered material neéds. And with a disposition like that you tend to gravitate towards liberal political ideas, and liberal in denmark is often the same as a lack of tolerance for difference...

it is wrong to use the word 'nazi'. however, there is a move towards the right-wing of politics sweeping the whole of western europe. we should remember the lessons we have learnt in the past.
