:D Don't be like most people and forget to take clones.. there are no seeds left

Normally I don't take cuts from outdoor plants.. I'll be sure to start them inside to grab a few. My outdoor spot usually produces an S1 or two in my females so I guess I have that to look for as a backup plan lol.

That high calyx to leaf lady looks PERFECT for outdoors. Plus I wouldn't mind a big yielder :)

the one i used to make Margo (Deepwater Horizon x Red Lime) has a great calyx to leaf ratio and is way more star dawgish :D hopefully you find one of those as well... they are louder and more dense but not as huge yielding

Thanks brother! Magilla certainly does have the touch, he's the entire reason that making this hybrid was possible.

I was gonna make F2's and F3's first, but I will focus first on making a Deepwater Bx1 with my DH selection and a Margo male once i pop a bunch... will use that Margo male in other crosses as well.

very nice work an thread nader.. keep it up!

the plants looks great, its visible that when you use two excellent but different lines from two great breeders, you can get something new and special..

love the plant from post 49

My high expectations were floored for sure. I'm lucky it turned out so well and that the keeper cut I have is so different than what I envisioned, which was essentially a more dense (than mextiza), mad yielding barely need to trim plant like the first pic.. and the keeper i kept is quite different.. like an orange blossomy star dawg on steroids

i was definitely lucky though with this cross, especially with keeping that male along (thinking that it was a beautiful female, from not having declared sex after almost 6 months veg unlike the ~14 other males lol). its definitely not always gonna work out though, like insanely gorgeous couples with unattractive offspring

my partner hit the amazing (top 3 all time for me) harmony clone he has with some of the star dawg pollen, and the results were really not good terpene-wise. the creamy fruit candy og lusciousness of the harmony clashed so hard with the overtly chem virtues of the star dawg male. I recently pollinated that harmony with a beastly red lime male from mean gene which i trust will be a far better match. "Smells like creamy Squirt soda" which was all I needed to hear to get pollen flying from that male on a few different plants before i even flowered any females out from the red lime, or the rest of that seed run lol. Im excited to see how that Red Lime male pairs with my DH keeper as well in the "Margo" cross, of which I have 15 seedlings going right now.
