If you could go back in time, what path would you tell yourself to take? The one where nothing bad happens and it all goes great, or the one with pain and suffering that you are sure isn't fake?

Here's a stoner thought.

When we get real good at building androids.
I say we dye the pneumatic fluids and oils, blood red.

Maybe have a layer of red fluids as a subcutaneous cover-all as well.

Think about it.

The question to ask yourself though is would you be willing to give up all the good things in your current time path to go down a path that was less bad? What people often overlook when contemplating going back in time to take a new path is it may mean everything good in your life now may never happen. Let's say for example in this current path you've found the love of your life. Well if you went back and changed your path, while life overall may be better you might never meet that love of your life. Perhaps sometimes we have to accept bad life experiences in order to have the really great life experiences.

yes, it is the time travel paradox so popular to depict in films. go back & change just 1 little thing, & you change everything. lots of folks fantasize about going back to the 1920s & killing Hitler before he comes to power. it might work, or it MIGHT make it worse...

Every 24 hours, millions of CCTV cameras pick up footage. Millions of pics and vids are uploaded. millions of blogs and tweets are posted. Day in day out. One day there may be a supercomputer that will be able to make sense of all of this data. With this much info it will be able to see patterns. It will be able to simulate scenarios.

Maybe it has already happened. Based on the data, this is what the computer believed Earth in 2014 was like.

How accurate it is? Who knows.

As the recession deepens I see more and more two dollar bills, fifty cent pieces and dollar coins. Every time I am out, I see lines of people feeding those coin star machines.

I wonder how much money in change and 2 dollar bills exist uncirculated in the us?

From something heard on the radio....

Fourth of July, the USA celebrates our "freedom" and honors those that fought for our "freedom" by firing off an amazing amount of loud fireworks, which bothers the PTSD of those very veterans whom we are "honoring" by being really loud, obnoxious jerks. And it makes their service animals jumpy, too.

I kept seeing & hearing "God bless America, and support Her local sponsors"... shop because it is patriotic, right?

Yeah, that's what wrong, right there, with the whole world. It's all about the money, the corporate sponsor, and keeping that 1% in fucking control. It isn't just America, we're just the asshole of the world.

How about the USA starts actually blessing the rest of the world? "Love your neighbor" doesn't generally mean killing them.
