They work better then I thought they would. They hold between 2-3 pounds and barely let out any smell if any at all.

Not bad, you could probably pull a pretty large crop outdoors. I also use food grade buckets with gamma lids jars are a pain in the ass.

I used to do the outdoor thing. I applaud those who still do. It's a lot of work checking on them. With my 15k flower room I harvest around 15 five gallon buckets every 3 months and harvest four times a year.

I haven't tried it for that purpose but it works very well for bud. It definitely keeps a good seal so I suspect it would work well. Pouring it out might be an issue, once the outside lid is on it doesn't come of.

Regular bucket lids aren't air tight and will rip your fingernails off.

There's a gasket on the right part and lid. It's air tight.

Gammas are great for weed, no clue how they would do for your use...but I would imagine pretty good. I really like half gallon jars even though they don't hold much. Have this weird set of drawers that were painted with super hero themes that they fit perfectly in for storage.

If you monocrop though...big food grade bucket o dope is the way to go.

My son belongs to a Beer Brewers club. Everyone uses them to keep hops/grain. During fermentation thought it's a different story with check valves and stuff. I don't know much about that part other than drinking it
