Deep Congo

The best place for folks that want to post publically
About the original deep chunk release the best logical place
Is the thread corresponding to that release

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=87743&page=8

In regards to past warranty issues if folks who mentioned it at he time
And are still an active icmag member then it is easier to verify if
Someone has the same handle as they did when they originally posted a germ issue.

Mr. Williams, I saw your new gear for sale! I had some original Congo, but they would not germinate.

I look forward to getting some of your new creations.

Thanks!

Hey DW - I gotta say - Lean has never sold or attempted to sell anything...

I think it's a common courtesy TO ASK before using someone's pictures. He probably wouldn't have minded at all if you had asked first.

The other issue with that is his plant represents a different generation of your work than the current one - and it is certainly misleading to the consumer if you use such a picture to represent the newest filial generation...

LG is a really good dude - I don't know why you are getting offended because he made a simple request of you. Don't be "that" guy.

back to the congo phenotypes

For what its worth here are the two "back to the Congo" phenotypes
Grown outdoors as god intended, no indoor facilities here at the Williams, we live in the woods.

Cheers to all

Rw- I have no problem with you.
I had no intentions of selling seeds, I would have given my work away to ACE for freebies. At the time it was unclear if you where going to releases seeds. I've been nothing but supportive. When you asked me for males because your project was stalled , I provided them , no questions asked. To come online and say I planned on selling your strain is bullshit.
I've worked this strain more than you have to be honest.
I'm not looking for conflict in any of this. I'll continue doing my thing with my seeds. I'm not in this for money and don't feel like I'm after yours...
The free Back to the Congo you sent me, you took it upon yourself to offer me last time you used my pic to sell seeds. kinda condescending the way you worded that
Furthermore, all of the recent pics I've posted are grown in soil, nothing ungodly about them.

Lean I never accused you of planning to sell seeds, the way you and someone else explained it was an opportunity arose and you asked me about it.
I'm definitely jealous of all the great pics you've done and adventures with different generations and crosses, reality is for me I was for years running a clone of the deep Congo for a compassion club which was an accomplishment in of itself till I got ratted
Out and busted , so now no indoor facilities for the old hillbilly Williams's,
anyways lean
I have always been impressed with what you have done lean with the deep Congo
And I already edited all negative comments out of the thread and deleted any picks of yours.
Cheers and do keep enjoying the strain, sharing the beans and hope you try out the backcross.

..we all love the plant, and the genes are in the wild again for those that want, everybody secretly knows that the money isnt with seeds. too much money is wrapped up with our plant that sometimes we lose track of the goal, and that is medicine in the hands of those that require it. Lean is a good guy, so is dank frank...and those Williams' boys sure know how to pick mommas. We are all equal here, we are all seen as outcasts to the norm, we are all hacks..those that were there for the old 'hack' thread will know that even those we look up to, see themselves as a caretaker not a land owner when it comes to genetics...we do this for our kids, so they can have something that is medicinal not mono chemotype, government grown tastless 15% thc 0% anything else commercial shit.

Long live La Mano Negra, Tom Hill and the Ganja members who made this thread possible!

post your back to the congos

How are folks doing with their back to the Congo's,
We started a few under a tiny l.e.d. panel a while back will post soon.
We are looking forward to get started soon on this years
Outdoor Congo breeding project exploring the backcross project further. Hopefully Richard sr. Will still be around he's getting sick and old but still has wisdom.

Cheers, the Williams.

googled this thread searching for some pics of phenotypes of Back to the Congo. Hope here's still somebody reading this. A growther friend on another forum recommended this BTC. After I saw Richard Williams BTC beans appeared on ACE seeds I just ordered 5pack from there and popped 3 of them. I read people love this strain for it's musical values and decided to try out myself.
got 2 males and one fem. Which I flipped yesterday. 1 male and female has big fat indica leaning leaves and thick strong woody stem.
and one male is very much different. More sativa leaning. Thinner stem. Smaller and more narrow blades. Smells more fruity. Although both smell very nice.
Can anyone comment on those phenos? What should I'd be looking for.
Thanks. Here're some pics.
Stems.
