with all this deep congo work, have you had any thoughts on reworking/bringing back texada timewarp x deep chunk at all?

hi bird, i do have a version of the deep warp im working on a collaboration with a botanist friend, a test plantation were trying out on a nearby island.
for a nice outdoor early im testing a deep congo cross called mighty congo which is fathered by mighty mite. again aiming for an early outdoor version of the deep congo.
thanks for your interest.
cheers, richard.

Well ,well. There already is a early outdoor version of the congo it is crossed to the local early bramble, it is called the lemon. anyways nice to see you knocking congolese. Hmm was it not for the club and your patient to grow not to knock?

ps there is no reason to rework the timewarp if you have the original and are a good grower and take the time to learn her she is a very very dank plant probably the best outside in these parts....

by the way the fella i got the cut from all those years ago did not place a breeding restriction on it, hes not remembering that , i do recall tho thedank trinity cut i gave him in trade had a restriction not to even mention the name let alone flog seeds of the same name like he went and did on another site...memories...

c ray thanks for mentioning the brother who apparently passed these genetics along to the community. Its simply a magical gene line with the incredible balanced creative high and the unmistakable sagey smell like insence you smell in the room after...i was reluctant to have cuts elsewhere but in the end proved wise to get back my last bx1

bongs for jesus mr dick?
Dude who gave you the congo cut did ask you to not knock it. As for the trinity it was crossed and grown by a few friends never sold.stolen but not sold.the cut was never kept but was quite nice i recall...

hey dick how many deep chunk seeds did you go through, how many DC males did you have to choose from to pollinate the congo, and how many seeds of the f1s did you sort through to find a male to bX to the congo? why did you choose the DC as the gene to fold into a bX?

Who cares? The Deep Congo line obviously has a loyal group of followers despite not knowing its exact pedigree. Sometimes it is better not to know, the results speak for themselves. As do further generations of the plant, ask Lean Grean he has went through F2's extensively. I'm sure RW is not living in a chalet driving a mazerati because he "knocked off" your buddys congo cut.

Richard I would gladly purchase another few packs if you decide and are able to do so. I popped my last 4 about a year ago and unfortunately they did not make it and no longer hold a mother. Very unique gene pool you got there.

Viva Deep Congo!

c- ray,
to answer your questions,
when tom hill first arrived and shared his work i was öne of the first dozen folks to receive beans from tom directly. Having Received the congo cut some years earlier and reading about toms sage advice on how to look for a holy grail strain i.e. crossing dc to pure sativa and sifting through the results i took upon myself the task of trying to in some way preserve the congo cut in hybrid form (not "knock" as goof so crassly states ). I grew out the entire pack of beans of the dc from tom that year in a swam grow and ultimately selected five males (utilizing known advice from folks like dj short, tom) across a number of the congo cuts in an open sunny swamp on vancouver island.
Ultimately I ended up with two thousand or so f1s. 1000 of these were sold in bulk at $1 per seed and we now see the results out there. It has been a great ride watching how people have made out with this strain, i dont care about making any money off of it and prefer to be here to celebrate peoples success. i will describe the bx1 process in another post. thanks folks. richard.
