THH and DC both are heirloom breeding stock imo and 2$ per seed is nothing compared to shit that most people sell these days. Just my 2c.

Very reasonable. I think 20 years ago they were £50/10 DC and £90/10 THH haze

I'm surprised there are not more DC and DC hybrids grown

It surprises me too. I was away from the community for a long time and OHaze, DC, roadkill skunk and such legendary building blocks are still causing hysteria. Theres a reason for that.

Here's the same girl about 7-ish weeks in. Looks like probably another 10 or so days, but we'll see how she does. A few others are a few weeks behind, but they're all very similar in traits.

I emailed KOS about the background and he's very adamant that it's the real deal. Obviously, it doesn't look like what we're used to seeing from Tom or Raco or any of the OG Deep Chunk guys.

I think that it's either related to KOS' selections when continuing the line, or maybe what he thought was DC from Moonshineman was maybe a cross. Either way, this plant will remain in my garden for a very long time. Not much smell, but she packs on resin as much or more than any other heavy indica I've grown.

KOS says that the Bogglegum he uses, from BOG, was created using the Indiana Bubblegum clone but he uses deceptive language like, "assume to be the Indiana Bubblegum clone", to mask the truth (https://archive.ph/wip/SXtxi). We all know that BOG used White Label's Double Gum and BCSC's NL5 to create Bogglegum. So, I don't trust anything that KOS says about his strains. He's full of shit. I wish I knew that before I bought some of his Deep Chunk F4 a few years back.

I'm growing some from Raco's 2008(?) run right now and they look like his pic in the post above.

out now, they had some problems with germination/dormancy.
i think they only ship to EU but not quite sure.

This is a Spanish continuation of the original Tom Hill Deep Chunk, a renowned true-breeding Indica-type strain with roots in the Afghan Hindu Kush. The original landrace from which Deep Chunk was inbred is said to have been introduced to Northern California in the late 1970s. Crucially, it’s believed to have never been outcrossed.

Deep Chunk is known for its early maturation, thick stems, short internodes, and excellent resin production. It’s a classic Indica that produces copious leaves and broad leaflets. Buds are dense and yield earthy, herbal aromas, including hashy pine, citrus, coffee, and chocolate. A weakness is its susceptibility to botrytis. A strength is its knock-down potency.

True-breeding for many traits, this is an archetypal Indica strain that’s earned a reputation as an excellent breeding plant.
