Here's a weird looking pheno from a pack of KOS DC. I'm sure I'm mostly to blame for her looking so weird (deficiency/toxicity or whatever) but she's always kind of been like that. She's in a light soil mix now getting fed plain water, so I think she'll be fine. Wondering how much of this trait will stick around.

Do you have mites? This looks like stress from bugs.

I had a plant that looked like this the whole time it was growing, I called it krinkle leaf, and it might have popped up as a mutation due to a heavily inbred line. Mine was from "First Lady" from odeli. Quite inbred line. I've heard about it popping up in some blueberry stock as well.

I purged mine due to slow growth and minimal bud growth.

No mites as far as I can tell. All other plants look fine, including the other DCs. This one and another seedling (that I killed off) both grew pretty weird from germ. I think some of it is attributed to my less-than-ideal feeding in the coco, but I'm about 90% sure I don't have any pests. I'm going to give them a spray today just to be safe. They're in the veg tent, so no flowers will be affected.

I was more talking about the little pale lines and splotches on the leaves, mostly lower-left screen. But you know more than me, just watchin out :joint:

Did you use any sort of root enhancers with this plant? What exactly did you feed it?

Nothing special. (Flushed) coco/perlite and light dose of calmag and Maxibloom, ppm maybe 500-600. The other DCs are fine and still in coco with the same feeding. This one went into light warrior/ocean forest at about 60/40 ratio.

Yours all seem to be fairly uniform, and 4 of mine still are. Just this one decided to be weird.

Interesting. Probably not worth keeping if it doesn't snap out of it.

I've seen weird leaf growth in some individuals from other strains after using SuperThrive before, and even a bit of it from Canna's Rhizotonic, but they always snap out of it fairly quickly. Never saw it with Roots Excelurator, though, or KLN. I suppose it could relate to the OFO since we both use it. I use 67% ProMix HP and 33% Ocean Forest.

My KOS DCs are looking great. I'm taking pictures of it all for a grow report. I'm seeing some minor variations in the 5 girls now, but surprisingly uniform. Uniform enough to throw all the flower into one bag together and present as one thing. Lots of resin and a sweet creamy smell coming out now, too. I'll be finishing week 4 of flower this Sunday.

At first sight I thought that the plant was too close to the bulb...crinkled leaves and all...now I´m thinking of virus lol
I´d cull it

Raco (and others), thanks for the feedback. I'll probably get rid of her. I did notice that she has a very strong chemmy smell to her stems. Reminds me a lot of the smell I get from my PCK/PanamaDC. Never got to grow a PDC girl, so I'm not sure how the smell is on her. This DC is also trifoliate, which I've noticed is a strong trait in the PCK/PDC.

Given your extensive work with all things DC and DC hybrids, does this smell sound familiar?

My others will start to push out flowers in the next couple weeks. That's going to be a lot of fun.

I have a Panama DC. It is very smelly, mostly like jungle cat piss. There were 3 sister plants that all had milder smells and took longer to finish and this was the keeper.

The panama x dc I had were strong smelling and very lemony, especially on the taste. Open the jar smack you in the face herbal lemon funk, taste was more lemony than sweet skunk.

So after popping 6 from KOS, one was a runt seedling that got killed early, the other runt/mutant didn't grow much and was finally killed. Of 4 normal plants, they all look pretty uniform, although some grew a bit quicker/bigger than others - 3 boys, 1 girl. Kept the two best looking boys and pollinated the girl and a bunch of other shit that I have, including a couple phenos of Ace Bubba Hash. Here's the pollinated Deep Chunk girl at 22 days 12/12 and just a few days after the pollination.
