Hola amigos

Nice ones Raco. Your friend has a fan for summer there. A pity one showed hermi side but at least was clearly expressed. I would always be aware of Nepal cross more than Uzbek cross on that sense but you never know until tested. Cross used Parineeta indeed. Anyhow hoping to see more results and wishing most are good enough. Testing here P.Chitral x Uzbek as well. Hope next months to have better info for the records

Keep on going Raco, always nice to follow your show :)

HL,
yep...Haze#1, female cut only.Very healthy and (by now) nice internodal.I love this girl!! :jump:
Here´s an outdoor cut, awesome pic courtesy of charlie
bloodofawig.jpg

There´s a M13 Afghani/Nepali cross in SSSC cat.SOLD OUT!!
It seems like the Nepali was a sativa...
Also think that the cat. in High Times circa 1981 or 82 had similar crosses:
Affi/Nepal and vice-versa :D
also a Haze/Nepali and Nepali/Haze crosses, besides of the Burning Bush etc..
no chance ill be able to reead this thread cover-to-cover, so excuse em if its already been said,
but nepal has been known for its hashish for decades.
nepalese indica is what they make it from.
there is extreme sativa from the nepal, as well, but the native people would never dreeam of using it to make hash, its thc content is nill. its the nepalese equivalent of feral hemp. its a vine that grows everywhere. extremely invasive. they can not make hash from it. they just use iindica for that.

is this hybrid of deepchunk and 'nepal highland' made from an indica or a sativa from nepal? because if sativa i would imaginei td be tantamount to deep chunk x feral hemp :badday: on the bright side, dc x hemp would still prolly be knd smoke! :D dc is one of the best breeding plants ive ever worked with and when used against a shit plant, it turns it into something worth growing.

anyhow, :D:D

if anyone knows where i can get some nepali indica genetics please do let me know via pm!!!!

i have wanted to work with this for years and years and never have been able to find the right stuff.
i want to release some medicinal genetics by christmas 08 for free or in order to get better exposure/get them into the hands of patients and caregivers, possibly sell them thru the internet at next to nothing. i do not wish to bank off of this. its just something i want to do to
A. provide the right meds for specific ailmetns to those in need, worldwide
and
B. preserve a private bank of genetics ranging from the rarest of landrace sativas and indicas,
to the stabilization in seed form (standard method, not bullshit s1 garbage)
of some of the classic 'clone-only' female selections that have been in circulation past ten years online, and elsewhere,
as these unique plants are something that need to be saved for the ages.
the only problem with this is the time and space it takes to stablize (ibl)
a female clone with unknown heritage. (most are herm-born, bastards, etc, and a pita to say the least to breed with)

thanks again

and please excuse my ignorance if the above info HAS indeed been stated, already :) be well, friends

High ethereal and all the others
hehehehe the debate again...HL Nepalese...indica or sativa or what?
According to Reeferman,it´s a sativa :D
I´ve smoked charlie´s selections in the last years and it´s very nice herb, that make excellent hybrids.
Like the Neeples i.e. :D
Highlighter,
Very nice!! looks promising
These are Neeples #2 buds,still drying :D

Nepalese came from Reeferman in a genetics exchange we made and its been showing us some very nice things since the beginning. Its been used at Nepal Jam from ACE crossed with Jamaican... I love this type of sativa high, clear, energetic and creative. They finish outdoors ending October... In the case Raco shows and talks, Nepalese used with Haze was a strongly structured male. Haze female came from offspring of female Haze#1 and male Haze#6, some of the selected individuals we got from original Haze project.

We ignore parentals influence so this thread will show us how they turn out to be... being untested individuals, everything is possible but I hope can bring at least some fun.

I leave here some Nepalese pics
Later

charlie

The Nepalese male was more dominant than the Uzbeki ones. The AF Neeples definitely tends to the Nepalese side. Her sister is a fine blend of both parents, smells like a fine chocolate, and it´s not even cured!! :jump:
Pic to compare, see charlie´s pics of nepalese :D

The Old Mendo beast looks like if a PTK were crossed to a mexican,or colombian....I smoked an uncured bud and WOW!!...sure there is a very fine sativa in it :D

Hola all. Hey highlighter....nice plants. She looks very much like the one I grew.

I had 3 females from the NepJam x Nep seeds gifted to me. 2 were outstanding....1 was so so(tall and lanky). The 2 outstanding femals looked identical to yours. Lots and lots of resin, real dark leaves. The smoke has been very impressive as well. Nice and strong and long lasting 2+ hours. A good up high. The best female was cloned and she will be going outside this summer.

That Old Mendo looks fabulous, Raco! :D

Chunkbeki #2...one of the best plants I´ve ever grown
What makes this so, a combination of positive things? Potency? Yield? Vigor?
Would like you to expound on that statement! :D

Hey Bacchus! You really see Nepalese attributes in the Neeple? She just seems so DC to me! She does have alot of leaf, which I put down to supporting such a large bio-mass. We'll see how the buds develop.
I just put my 7 Nepjam's into flower yesterday. Leaves are thinner and a bit lighter green. Males will be isolated for pollen collection. :woohoo:

Mmmmm ethereal, i completly disagree. Nepal people does hash mainly from sativas, not indicas. The same in north india (parvatti, malana etc ...), there are lot of potent himalayan cannabis sativa strains used for hash production.

The first incensey sativa i had the pleasure to try was a wild sativa from kathmandu valleys, she smelled like wild natural strawberries while flowering and was very incensey, that was before i met any haze variety. High was expansive and very clear. Not the most powerful but certainly very high quality. We had succesful good hybrids with nepalese sativa strains and they are probably my favourite pure sativas to smoke.

Of course, you can find low powerful sativa cannabis in the himalaya, but there's a milenary hash culture there and many farmers still preserve powerful sativa lines. In fact, North India and Nepal is where cannabis originated and it's still one of the zones that preserves almost all the integrity of their past cannabis genetic diversity, global genetic contamination is not affecting isolated himalaya areas so fast like other parts of the world.

well i know the feral sativa in the highlands there is so invasive and widespread it actualoly grows out of the cracks in masonry!
there are ancient temples made of stone with this sativa just exploding out of it, and i believe thats where the name 'nepalese TEMPLE ball hash comes from" , howver,
as far as ive copme to understand, the sativa is not what is used, its the indicas they breed/grow specificallly for hashish production. sativas do not have the trich-coverage, better said-- sativas dont have the same YIELD of trichomes that indicas have.

and hey, my info goes back many years, so i could very well be incorrect if you guys are speaking about current dealings out in nepal,
the nifo i preach comes from the old heads that traveled to nepal in the 1960s and 1970s . i have pictures of the feral sativa growing like a weed, from the temple buildings themselves! as i describe above, its feral impotent cannabis :)
the pics are somewhere. i will try to find them and get them into this thread if posible!

be well friends

Charas in North India and Nepal is made from sativas. You can feel spicy incensey aromas from the sativa.

I have grown a few north indian and nepalese landraces charas and they were all pure sativas. I have heard people getting nepalese indicas in the forums but never see a true nepalese indica like an afghani.

Why there are tons of nepalese sativa pics, havest info, hash processing info etc ...but there's no info about nepalese indicas?

Good question dubi

Many times people will state they have pure nep indica line, but pictures show some sativa charastetics...

However, I have seen sturdy looking Nepalese varietys in photos my mate took while he was meditating there at 93, 95 I think :chin: These plants did grow along taller varieties, but did significantly look different with more broader leafs than the taller plants! It´s been many years when I did see them pics, so my stonermemory isnt the sharpest :D Maybe you understand my friend
