Pharmies are the new gateway drug!!!! This all goes to GOVT trying to control what peeps do with their own bodies. It cannot be controlled. I say legalize all drugs...those that choose to use, will not last long when all they have to do is go to the store, to get a fix. The GOVT cannot control what an indivual is going to do with his/her body. If they could control it, there would not be a war on drugs. I know I am always going to smoke my weed, and fuck anyone that tries to stop me, I am an adult, and I answer to me, and my conscience...not men in suits, and with badges!!!!!!

AS for my opinion , I kinda feel all drugs should b legal sold at pharmcys , bud shops/ blow shops, prosties , people r gunna do drugs and hoes , might as well regulate it all?
or maybe societys need a black market of some sort, amagine if drugs and sex where legal, black market would be off the hook selling beastyality/ pedohilia, or the new designer drugs which would be home made? any thought s?

Ive known some very "succesful" junkies... As long as you have the MONEY$$$ to insulate you, its totally possible to be a productive member of society and be a junkie.. but it takes alot of cash...

It really isn't that unusual, like I say, we don't hear about these people, because they live normal productive lives and don't get into trouble. Most don't do as well as this chap, but he had a business idea early on in the rise of his field and went for it, however he did have a small inheritance to set up with-many other junkies would have shoved the inheritance up their arm-it depends on the person.
I have known several others who ran businesses, one runs a cafe, one runs a skip company, one runs a courier company delivering TVs and such ordered from the web/catalogs, another employs between 4 and 6 lads(depending on business) as painter/decorators. The only time they get into trouble is when they get caught scoring--and then its bad because usually they are buying eighths and quarters every so often instead of pissing about buying however many 10 pound bags they need every day and so when caught the police think they are dealing.
In the UK we still have a few people left over from the old Rolleston drug prescribing system-their prescriptions were not affected in 1971 as they were already being prescribed to and have been prescribed ever since. Nearly all of them have jobs, and some of them very good, well paid high responsbility jobs. They are coming towards the retirement age and many have spent their whole working lives as junkies. A couple of years ago the drug treatment service in Cambridge tried to get their group of these people off the Diamorphine scripts and onto the syrup with fast reduction and, several went back to street gear, at least one died some ended up in jail and all were worse off than before--the government made the treatment service give the scripts back-albeit reduced in line with the reduction in syrup which had been forced on them.
There are junkies, and there are junkie scumbags, unfortunately the latter inform peoples views of the former.

Wonder how many politicians have investments into illegal drugs...might be a reason to keep it illegal...much higher profit margins...
Is there anything that we can jump on to push legalisation through? I mean the world is waking up to decriminalised weed and I don't know why it's not happened here, we're up to class B!

Harry nailed it. This lie that anyone that uses is a worthless leach on society is wrong to the point of silliness.
Just everyone is afraid to come out as it is. The stigma and real threat of legal enforcement is enough to keep it down and to keep most tight lipped.
Even when the other guy is getting the boot on his throat.

Lets see. You get a citation for possession. Instead of looking at jail time a fine and court cost. You are ordered to go to a class. They charge a fee for sending you to class. They charge a fee for the class. And they charge you for urine test. And if you miss a class. Then you are sent to court. Where you get jail time, a fine and court cost. It will cost the people more money in the long run. Convoluted government that says they understand and want to help. While they have their hand in your pocket.
