This also happen to my chem4 in mid flower died after the wash I didn't know what happen I just started over
I watching to see if anybody knows about this...

I can only assume that the oil refracted the light to be too intense once the lights came on...

You could test that theory by trying it on 2 plants that aren't vital to your grow. Put one under flouros, one under the HPS, see if it happens to one or both.
