no sweat butt! cheers, yeah sad about captain phil, just watched an ep where his older son spoke to him in his cabin and said he needed to slow down with the cigs, red bull and coffee and go see a doctor as his son wanted to see him around for a few more years yet. capt phil's just like "yeah i will eventually do it" and dies a few days/weeks later... very sad

Just wait until you get to ep. 7 i dont want to say too much but capt. Phill is in the wheelhouse talking to all the crew at the end of King crab season SAYING

Capt. Phill was a great loss he was One of my Favorites

yeah i know what you mean, i had a similar thought recently when i was listening to a heap of comedian george carlin (died last year i believe) talking about him and death/dying. creepy stuff.

i read captain Phil's younger son got a fat ticket for reckless driving the day his dad died. Phil was defiantly a good captain. The hilstrand brothers on the time bandit are pretty cool, and also the northwestern would be a fun boat to go on.

I don't want to spoil it for those that haven't seen the most recent episode, but Capt. Phil says some words which are VERY erie regarding his own morality/future... It was almost as if he literally could see the grim reaper walking up his driveway to his door...

On a side note note, I think the whole Jonathan/Keith rivalry is childish. Forgive and forget and move the fuck on for fuck's sake.

Can't believe the last episode! Jake Harris, shit man. Stealing pills from his old man.. probably the lowest point I've seen him at. Can't believe the anger and disappoint his old man is feeling....especially prior to this when he was talking about josh not having the heart/drive to run the boat, but Jake had made efforts, shown drive here and there.

yeah jake harris really disapointed me on that one .... no respect for him no more, pretty shitty......i bet he feels like shit now that his dad is gone and their relationship is ending on that note.

that is what an addiction to pills does to people. i am sure part of him feels responsible for his dads death but Phil Harris didn't take care of himself at all. he isn't 100% at fault at all. i was disappointed too but Phil was right something hadn't been adding up. Hopefully Jake is getting some help and isn't worse now after his dads death. He can be a good kid, but has shown to be immature and makes bad decisions. I just hope he can turn that around before he ends up like his dad, and dies young because he couldn't take care of himself.

That Jake is a real punk. Popps spoiled him rotten is the problem. The kid has no respect and thinks the world owes him just for gracing us with his presence. I wonder what the fate of the Cornelia Marie will be. Sad stuff, the legacy of Cpn Phil deserves better. Hope his boys get their shit together and motherfucking man up!

Also, since everyone seems to be declaring their favorite boat, I'm going to have to side with those who said Time Bandit. The Hilstrand brothers know how to party and have fun.
