oh well. get to Alaska and visit. do it soon to, because it is dissapearing. alaskas last economic boom was tourism. unregulated + Bush politics = bye bye wilderness.
ex. PFD(permanent fund for alaskans to share in oil profits) has went down every year. last i saw, 06, was 800 bucks...lol. use to be 3grand or better.

Bullshit....your wrong. The dividend was never $3000 or higher.Although it has dropped in recent years.....we are projected to get a fatty this year. The highest the dividend was in 98 or 99 when it was $1841 or something. We arent disapearing you fool....are trees are still here....we still have record runs of salmon....still have plenty of tourism and possibly a new natural gas coming down from the slope. There is more construction this year in the state than ever before....you obviously know not what you speak of or havent been to AK in many years.

imo wilderness is in trouble at the current rate of things, not only in AK but anywhere it may still be. climate changes, law makers, & too many other factors to list have already proven to have destroyed much of the remaining wilderness. i doubt we see a slow down to the destruction in our lives.
