Dead hairs from the start

Can anyone tell me why a flowering pant would have mostly brown, dead or dying hairs from the start of flowering to the end?

no males in sight, never had em and frankly at this point, as far as she's concerned,
never will. Doesn't seem to be affecting the growth but who knows about the potency.
I'm not sure. Never seen this before. I've had this plant a long time and kept her in stasis
for about 3 grows. Started the flower about 2.5 months ago. Could be mass stressed
reduced...... and you know what? Probably is. I was just hoping someone out there had
seen this before and had a bead on the culprit.

my plants did that on my current grow. I cut open a calyx and found a seed forming. Id check to make sure its not pollinated.

Son of a bitch!!!
When i get my hands on the mongrel scum that knocked my
baby up!

How the HELL did this happen? I kill ALL males at the first sign of a gonad!!!!!

This has been going on since like the 1st sign of flowers. Unless...... there's a tiny male flower somewhere on this bitch.... or more!!

Damn It. And I thought I checked so well!
No telling where they could be. The seeds are super.. super tiny.
Guess i gotta keep this hermie isolated. But no way i'm not finishing this girl out. Not with all the hell we've put each other thru.

Stress... I did it, wasn't intentional and couldn't always be avoided. Guilty as charged!

Thanks guys, never had this happen before either by purposly pollinating a plant, or from a hermie. You live, you grow, and you learn,

Well here's another stroke O misfortune for the knocked up lady. noticed the start of budrot and some white powderey stuff in some buds....

I choppped her down. Better to get a 1/2 oz decent bud than a joint or two in a couple weeks. I'm tired of fucking with her. I've got to many other stellar beauties in the garden that deserve my undivided attention.

Thanks for all your help guys and the eye opening experience. Next time I'll pay more attention to the treatment of the babies. i spend excess of an hour a day taking care of my 10 plants. Some say i do too much and at times I agree. Dude I love the cultivation so much I'd feel neglectfull with any less. Just gotta make sure the stress is
minimal.

The only thing I worry about now is this freaking southern heat. it's already in the 90's .But, what are you gonna do? Hope for the best, hope for the best!

if you are in there evry day, take some preventive measure against that budrot spreading...

clean the space thouroughly with a diluted bleach solution or, better yet, some Serenade...

insure the rest of the crop has no rot related problems...spores spread easily and can not be seen...they are in there...

what strains are you flowering?

how much light?

how is your humidity??

well. this is the only one flowering. it's being done through a take it in, put it out daily regimen. So she is isolated from the rest of the plants. So as far as being "in there" it's not that simple. The others are all outside in veg and doing better than i ever thought possible. I can't do the indoor thing because it's too hot and I can't afford the needed cfm's to cool in the summer.Maybe after this harvest I'll be able to afford a setup that'll allow me to grow inside all the time. Nor can I cut holes in the walls. In the winter...... I don't have the heat issues.

The one i just chopped was bagseed. The others are Arjans's haze and Bogglegum, and as i said. they're vegging.

Thanks Sleepy. I appreciate any input a guru like you has to offer!

I've noticed some brown hairs on one of my lifesavers. Its the smallest of them all, probably due to the stress I put it through before flowering. We've been flowering for about a month and the rest of the girls, all much larger and unstressed, still only have white hairs

Do you think it could be the same thing?

yeah thats what i figured i just didn't want to break it to ya, anytime you got hairs turning colors or getting withered around week 2-3 it's a very good sign you got pollinated and better check for hermies.

also don't smoke that bud if it's got rot or mold on it...it's very bad for you and you could end up with naumonia or lung infection....if u must atleast be careful and cut the bad parts off man.
