Finally got access to a camera...I'm really overwhelmed with anticipation for my very first harvest! Here's some shots.

You got a microscope? looks like they need another week to finish. Its tricky tho cuz i had a plant look 100% done, all hairs had turned, but the trichs were 100% clear. Its for that reason that a microscope is ESSENTIAL for judging ripeness.

well if thats your first grow, I think we may have a future grow master here in LAN... congratulations on an excellent job. Was the grow from bagseed? what lighting did you use? looks great and I hope you have a wonderful time smoking the finished product...

Damned fine job, there! First grow? Wow.

The first plant looked similar to Sour D at first glance. The second looks similar to C99, in my opinion. Maybe Sweet Tooth? Just some thoughts.

Nice job!

Heh, thanks a bunch guys! I couldn't have done it without your contributions as I love to lurk within these forums, taking in little tidbits of info every day.

As for some more specs: They are bagseeds...they had remained dormant for at least 5 years before I germed them. I acquired them years back from a friend who collected his seeds, and I told him that if he let me take a few off his hands, I would grow them in the future.

I'm using a 400W HPS in a 5x4x3 foot grow space. I've got a passive input hole and a small office fan blowing at all times. The active output is hooked up directly to a carbon filter. The whole room was lined with emergency blanket material.

The plants are in 4 gallon pots using 'Myke' brand enriched soil with added perlite. I put in a few tablespoons of dolomitic lime also. I'm using Wild Thing nutrients with Boom Bloom flowering supplement and usually feed them 1000-1500ppm solutions every couple of waterings. They consume a full liter of water every day. I just started the flushing process a few days ago.

My next grow will be Mr. Nice Shit, and I really want to get into coco fibers and various guano mixtures.

Hi Lan,

They are some real nice looking plants! Out of curiosity, as you have a similar setup to me, how large are your pots? (In terms of inches as opposed to gallons).

Anyways, great plants, hope you enjoy them!

I don't have my tape measure handy at the moment, but as I recall the pots are 10 inches in diameter and about 12 inches deep. One of them is tapered and I'm sure the plant is a little too cramped for comfort given its 5 foot stature.

Hi Lan,

Sorry for the late reply, had PC problems... Mine are 12" wide and 11" deep at the moment. so yeah, pretty similar to yours.

Nice plants mate. Excellent calyx to leaf ratio. Look like potential keepers to me.

wow lan, I can't believe how similar your setup sounds. Exact same room dimensions and also 400 watter :p

How many plants did you end up growing in there?

They look amazing.
