hey peeps. today is day 57 and i finally got a hold of my sis' camera again. i ordered a microscope from radioshack last wednesday and still waitin for it to come right now. i dont want to chop yet before examining the trichs close and personal. here are some pics :

here are two sample buds that i chopped and they are still drying/curing.

im planning on trying out the smaller bud tonight and then let the bigger bud dry out and cure.

should be any day now for that micro forum eh? i wonder if we'll all have to start new threads there or if admon can move any threads dealing with micro/stealth grows there automatically...?

Makavellian, you give me great hope! Im also glad to see there are some people here using fluorescent lights. They work! (by looking at your pics)

well i tested the smaller nug as a sample. it weighed out to be .4g dry. pretty good imo. for smokin it i used a homemade bong and chilled water. i shoulda thrown in some ice though :mad: when i grinded up the bud, there was a lil intense floral perfumey smell and a bit of a green-y smell. i think this is becuz it was dried in 2 days and didnt get to cure. for the smoke, on the inhale there was some weird funky earthy taste. i definitely need to let it cure to be able to taste it. on the inhale, i took a bigass hit and i could feel a little warming of my throat. not harsh at all. i think if i threw in some ice cubes this would be cured. on the exhale though it was verry smooth, the smoke just streams out of your mouth without you even feelin it. after done t0king, the high takes around 5 minutes to come on full speed, and then i was left with a happy face and numbed calfs knees and lower back for 2 hours or so before i fell asleep :) overall i was pleased with the smoke and they were only some of the shaded buds that was covered by fanleaves before they died. thanks for stoppin by yall :O

Wow, chunky nuggetocity. Very well done, mak.

My first two grows were bagseed sativas under like a dozen 4' fluoro tubes. It's funny to think about now, but back then the only reason I was laughing was because the kind bud I'd grown myself had me high as a mofugger. LOL Those first few grows was an incredible feeling.

Your plants look a bit tighter than mine did back then. CFLs are pretty killer.

hey dfa and canine! thanks for the comments. i was def pleased with the samples, it leaves a sweet tea-ish, or sweet herbal taste lingering in your throat.
well, today is day 62 and ive gotten the lil microscope from radioshack. but the f'ckin lil led bulb went out for some reason and wont turn on, but still usable. i cant really tell how much ambers clears and cloud trichs there were but im goin to throw a wild guess, around 50% cloudy, 25%amber, and 25% clear. today ive decided to harvest some of the bigger buds because they looked like they were getting pretty ripe. the plant isnt fully harvested yet, theres still alot of small and some medium sized buds left on to mature and grow. here are some pics.





these buds are pretty dense. the parts of the bud that are pinkish/purplish are the parts that were exposed to a lot of light.







this is how the plant looks now.. so small..

what was the yeild?
i started with 12 plants im down to 6 now. 3 females 3 unknown and 6 males so far.
im in about week 2 of flowering.

Wow! That's impressive for such little wattage, great job! Just wait till there done cureing gauranteed those'll smoke real nice!
