Younger than I thought, not THAT much older than me, considering. That funny little man scored some serious ass, my friends. He stood on a lot of boxes, but he got his and more. Oh, well. No more crappy reunion tours w/ 3 out of the 4 simians. Thanks for showing at Marcias formal, Davey.

Had a girl friend get really mad cause I wouldn't take her to a Monkees concert, that was in 1966. I didn't want to spend the ten dollars a ticket to see some guys lip sync songs. Looking back it was pretty funny.

btw bro, in '66 $10 mighta bought you both tickets I think.

I started going to shows in '69, it was $6.50/7.50 for good seats & $5.50 for nose bleeds @ Madison Sq Garden back then & I distinctly remember the Rolling Stones costing us $11.50 a seat in '75. The Stones played the Garden every night for a week straight, we went 3 times, it seemed like the right thing to do at the time.

anyway $10 a seat for the Monkees in '66 just seems a bit excessive to me, no wonder you didn't want to go.......
