this may be too narrow for all types of communication
you're thinking aliens, the possibilities are much wider
I'm thinking not aliens, at least not in the usual sense
it's not talk but there's a message
and it's a message we don't understand
The side of the containing message of the phenomenon is my favorite!

Assuming, if an advanced non-human existence wants to learn our languages, it will be easy for their A.I. to find out about it on the Internet, TV and Radio.

But simply addressing humans in this way can fail very quickly. Suppose “they” were to hack our Internet, TV or even our cell phones to send us a message, who would believe it?
Most people would dismiss it as a fake and this mission would have failed.

Equally risky (as a first approach) would be the selection of several influential people as mouthpieces. Although you could address the various cultures and ethnic groups in this way, you would have to go through their political and religious systems. This would distort the message, and it would also be difficult to choose WHO would deliver the message, because there are no influential people without their opponents, which would lead to a major rift and possibly even turmoil. So that would not be a promising idea either.

Of course, they could just hang around with their mothership in the air to show “Look, we're here! ”
From our movie industry, we know how to react to something like this: “We have to fight the alien invasion and mow everything down, whatever the cost...”
Of course we wouldn't stand a chance, we're not in a movie. But the chance of peaceful contact with the entire population would also be gone.

We could spend hours imagining scenarios. The question remains on a personal level: “How would you like to be addressed by non-human existence?”
Many will say: “Not at all!” because it doesn't fit in with our collective beliefs.
_____________________________________________________________________

Let's look at the facts and see what this phenomenon is currently triggering in us.
Most people are badly surprised, irritated, annoyed, overwhelmed and scared.
Only very few are happily surprised and are waiting calmly to see what happens next. Because: so far there is no danger.

But most people want an immediate solution, the best thing is to shoot down the drones, throw those responsible in jail and never let them out again. That's how we've been dealing with things that bother us so far.
That's not a good thing (for a contact), but it's just the way we treat ourselves as a collective when something is unknown: with reserved or open hostility. The patterns of fear are widespread, and who can blame us, we mainly have this imprint in the supposedly modern world.

Either way, Non-human existence must therefore first overcome the level of hostility before any further communication can take place. Humanity as a whole needs “proof” that it is not dangerous.
_________________________________________________________________

But the most important question is: Why do “they” want contact at all?

What comes to your mind, why would contact with us be worthwhile?
What would change in your life, in your belief system?
In which ways would you need to develop further to learn to accept this fact?

The phenomenon therefore also reflects what each individual carries within them!

it's chaos out there - the fog of war so to speak
The first casualty of war is always the truth.

This isn’t aliens, it’s rich people. No independent governments, no democracy, it’s been heading this way for as long as I’ve been here.
It’s the disclosure of global totalitarianism, not aliens.

Universal currency will be next.

communication is the word of importance here, so far communication isn't happening
here's a thought, what if it's communication without words or language?
humans do it all the time with dogs, no talk but there is understanding
dogs are a special case since they've been created/bred by us
but we do this with wild animals too
what if we're dealing with something(s) that don't talk?
quite a mind twister but shouldn't be ruled out just yet

i suppose if a ufo can travel through space and time the inhabitants could most likely communicate telepathically and on many different frequencies.

If you think about our eyes, they are an organ designed to receive elctromagnetic radiation. We could most likely also sense and/or interpret other frequencies than visible light.

Communication used to happen before words or language as we see it today was in place. Abstract images, glyphs, etc. A single point should be considered the first communication.

Most images convey meaning and hence communication and have done since a mark was first created in the dirt.

If you want to delve deeper into old abstract images and communication i suggest taking a look at rockart.

i'm pretty sure we already have the tech to implant messages in the brain from far away, e.g messages from helicopters in the ultrasonic range... You thought i didnt realise?

definitely in the direction I was exploring
I was speculating that they haven't spoken to us because they don't speak
telepathy would be a game changer, hadn't considered it
