Dateline NBC: To Catch A Pot Grower...

They could set up a fake internet company selling grow equipment,

Well, for one thing lights, pumps, buckets and fertilizer are legal to buy.
Its what you put UNDER those lights is where the problem arises. I'd be more concerned about where I get my beans rather than where I get my equipment.

pedophiles and people who steal your cc info are basically harmless mostly.
They should do meth labs and heroin dealers.. but whole different animal there.. especially dealing with biker gangs and street gangs. Its all about ratings.. they are doing the pedophile thing here also locally on the news.
Scarey thing is a cop called in to a radio station about a local sting at a mall and he said the person just showing up is intent.. so suppose i went to the mall and had a similar car and just happened to show up at that time? After they searched my house i could be exonerated but what about a grow if i had one?

Porking an unwilling 14 year old or stealing the CC information of a senior citizen who is one SSI check from eating cat food can do far more damage than a gun

I saw something on tv, how they caught people who went to a prostitute in the US.
They just pretended there was a prostitue and in fact it was the police waiting.

This is just crazy!
You cant tempt people to commit a crime and catch them.
This is not possible in any other country.

I've seen shows like that. Yeah, I dont see how that doesn't fall under entrapment. Same thing when an undercover cop rolls up to random people on the street offering crack and arrest the ones that agree to buy crack.

Its the belive that you're either good or bad and that this is a way of singleing out a bad person.
Its a little like thought crime

You might say yes when there is a real good looking undercover whore even though you never thought about doing that.
I bought all kinds of shit when people where bugging me because I was too surprised to react.
