Enjoy your dinner, here its blackberry caramel being prepped for my old mans 95th birthday party and im 3 hours by plane from any of my greens, but absence makes the heart fonder.

True to his nature my dear old man has already written this off so its likely ill have to redo it tomorrow with local berries and non of this continental stuff i got him from the shop:rolleyes:. Hope to see more of your green adventures soon :)

Hi Ladies and Gentleman and fellow lurkers finally got the room sorted so to speak with a few cold days temperatures not good even with heating on in house, and lights on 24hours but all in pots in system first scrog net gone on ok,ish to a degree, never used a scrog net before dont know if its set for the height so all a learning curve to me.. if im doing it wrong point me in the right direction.. i wont be offended at all ., I intend turning these to 12x12 first day december as previously said will get the other net on the left hand side system later today as they are on 24hours veg at the moment as previously stated have a new filter but not connected yet as have to climb into the attic to add more ducting to a vented ridge tile maybes,,. Will know once up there if not onto vented ridge tile have another idea. As only 2 houses in my street did not have snow on roofs mine and another but snow gone for now so thats a priority i thought i was venting properly but obviously not but no biggie can be sorted. That's gonna be huge!

Hope the ducting works won't be too stressful for you. Not a fun thing to do but once it is done, it is done for good. :)
This picture came to my mind when you mentioned the snow..

I think that in the case of the Wilma system, the clay balls retain some of the nutrients, hence the values being a bit higher.
I am the one who needs help with my new aeroponic system, so far I have tried different configurations, which made me lose some time in growth. I just hope that now the values I use are correct.

In most cases whether it be wilma or another system i agree the clay balls will hold some nutrients a little but yes for sure, Start low and build up till your plants tell you what is to much,. ie tip leaf burning always read your plants if you can. i know now, what i can push these to. or close enough before lockout occurs, but now and again the ec will start to rise and with the wilmas its easy corrected just add water plain and simple in my eyes so to speak if it wasnt id be back to soil if you get where im coming from.;) ive looked at your system and it looks to complicated for me, hence why i bought wilmas over ten years ago aero is no good for me. to much headache for me to be honest, but if you get it right its a added bonus it looks like your going in the right direction its all about trial and error and im sure you will get there in the end we all do sooner or later my friend heres to good luck on your future grows as well ..;)

Good to see ya back at it DS, looking forward to this..
I run with pebbles for ages in the IWS and never encountered any issues with pebbles holding on to nutrients, there ideal for the solution to run of from even though they are porus. The cleaning of them was no fun when washing them for the first time, almost as annoying as triming.

I looked at the wilma's myself this time round, and maybe overthought the whole process when trying to measure them up to fit in a tent, head space (should of just grabbed them) will definitely explore them at some stage.. One of the most reliable systems on the market for a long time.

Take it handy...

I understand you perfectly, we got into something complicated xD, in my case even more complicated. But that is also good, we are not satisfied with easy things and we want to improve.
Thank you very much, I am working on it, trying to do it as best as I can.
At the end of the week I will change the cycle to bloom and start using lucas formula with Tripart micro and bloom from GHE and the idea is not to go over 1,4 ms.
