Darker ash

seen this experience posted from time to time, so it appears to be 'real'
supposing that the combustion is complete, i.e. no organic residue left, what will the ash consist of?
ought to be much like wood ash, potash, sodium ash, some phosphorus, calcium, ...
these minerals produce white/light colored residues as a rule
dark might imply heavier metals, iron compounds being the most common
don't know for sure, but you could do some chemical tests if so inclined

with the Mexican and Colombian mixed with Afghani I thought it would be more classified as sativa

I would never put it in same category as haze or kali mist, I never perceived skunk1 as being electrifying.

So the uplifting to me is more of a a sativa attribute, that's what I was looking for.

Yet they somehow attribute energetic to the strain also

so people claim to feel relaxed and energetic from it ?
That's why I sort of take it with a grain of salt

After looking at the pictures from a far, I believe now more, that this might be in fact outdoor (paid at indoor prices), simply looking at the amount of leaf around

To be fair I will post some more pics, of some white widow outdoor I bought that I paid almost 1/3 of the price as well.

So here is the white widow, it is some foxtailing bud.
Fruity/Berry smell.

Locally grown (northern east coast)

Cheap (80-100 per oz)

White ash
Clean tasting

Stimulating buzz

I also attached some of what is supposed to be afghani hash
one piece is a 14 of some gooey stuff
and the other piece is a small piece of the drier afghani specimen

I have a friend who has some new bud every few days, exotic kushes and stuff like that but atm, I took a gamble on the skunk 1 and I have a lot of white widow to keep me busy

and when I get tired I smoke some hash and it starts all over

Ash is one of the best indicators of shit weed and inexperienced growers.

White ash, you know what you're doing. Black ash, you're a secret Advanced Nutrients rep.

It's not that simple, ash color can be attributed just as much if not more so to the bud being not properly dried and cured. As for Advanced Nutrients while I'm not a fan of their overpriced products it's unfair to imply they're the only nutrient line that can negatively impact bud smoke ability. Virtually any nutrient line that is overfed to the plant and not countered by a good flush can have the same affect as Advance Nutrients. I've smoked bud that burned smoothly and left white ash that was grown using just Miracle Grow products. I've also smoked bud grown with Miracle Grow that burned poorly and left black ash. The difference was that the person growing the white ash bud with miracle grow did a proper flush and dried the bud slowly and let it get a good cure before smoking. The person producing black ash buds with Miracle Grow felt that the need for flushing was a myth and he dried his bud quickly in a warm, dry environment for 3 days and then jarring it and not allowing it a proper cure. Although I think he sealed the bud's fate with the quick dry.

In summary then all dark ash really proves is that the grower was inexperienced and/or lazy. But is it worth it to keep hitting bud that has already had all it's resin burned off, just to see if the grower knew what he, she was doing?

Im wondering if bud that has not been flushed well is vaporized, is it gonna filter out the nasties ? As in, the nutrients dont vaporize ?

Do people who vaporize feel or taste a difference if herb has not been flushed or dried properly ?

79 when Indica was rare and skunk was found/invented by many around Santa Cruz/Bay area

If I would buy one (don't get me a wrong, I bought a vapor bros style whip on ebay once (replica) thought it was a lot of work, and you can burn your fingers on the bulbs being stoned as you are)

I thought I would post pics of some green I picked up tonight because, with the last one I updated of the outdoor, I kind of feel some of you might feel pity, that last one looks like mexican stuff

it sort of tastes like it compared to other stuff but it is a pleasant high

I'm happy to say I have some tasty green, it's also a different high then the rest of my bud because like always the purple kush can put someone to sleep who just got up

a good night time smoke or nap time smoke, sticky stinky stuff

In theory it should, I'm not sure what the vaporizing temps for "the nasties" are but if everything else is higher then what the cannabinoids require then cannabinoids should be about all you get, depending on the temp the vaporizer is set at.
