Dark Heart Nursery Clones

the headband mom i have is a strait stinker in veg. It looks like a strait og every leaf has 3 toes very lanky vine like but the stench is crazy. Sour D is a good vegger i tried to clone it to death and it bounced back like nothing.

dhn sour diesel is not what its name says. oh well....what can one expect from these places? not worth a 600gl pot .thats 4 sure. i call bullshi!

anyone have pics of their headband? I ran headband x og seeds and am now in love with headband and its crosses.. trying to see how similar it looked to mine.

I have ran their BD, 3x crazy, and Tahoe OG

all are awesome and would run them again. Tahoe OG is very nice yeilder with huge dense fuely nugs

Anybody flower out the GG4 yet?

Yes, it is one of my favorites of all time. It yields well and us very high quality. So far I've done blue dream, dream quern, Chernoble, gorilla glue4, girl scout cookie, sour diesel and Tahoe og. Everything was accurate to the description on their site. I have some sherbert from them I'm getting ready to.flower. DHN is legit IMO.

The only other company I've tried is King Klone. I absolutely love their candyland and white buffalo.

how does the king klones candyland yield?

It's better than GSC, and the flowers are dense. It's not a huge yielder though. I get around 1.25 -1.5 per 1000w. That's well below the gorilla glue. The quality is outstanding however and you will get a high return of 3+ per unit to make up for the smaller yield.

It would be chill if DHN or king klone would state if their breed stock/mom plants are from feminized seed. I assume that each cut is feminized and doesn't deserve any of the magic dust from my heirloom males.

I know a lot of them are "elites", and out of elites a lot of those came from random bagseed. if you did research on each cut you could probably find out a lot of them.

I've done all my hw GetMo; MULTIPLE forum research, podcast listening, their website, and sent three emails over the course of 3 months asking my questions to them directly.

"elite" in my book means STABLE, UNIQUE, SUPERIOR. bagseed = great for headstash but unless you outcross to something stable MULTIPLE times (x4) it's not worthy of releasing to the public, NO MATTER HOW DANK.

If you are going to be conducting CORPORATE scale clone services some upfront 411 is in order imo. The real question is, are the cultivars that the cuttings (some potentially UNINTENTIONAL bagseed) originate from a product of sts/cs or are they from a regular sexed seed? Finding out where in the world carmen san diego found the cultivar, who bred the strain, who germinated the seed, who toked the first bud is irrelevant at this juncture. Is it stable? Feminized? S1's? Original cuts? Can they produce healthy non-trans progeny when pollinated?

maybe I'm being overly thorough in my qualitive analysis, but then again I respect the ever loving grace out of this industry and think it deserves anything but another potentially degrading element murking the gene pool.

respect to the kind heads tho.

I dont think DHN clones were intended for breeding stock... there seems to be limited info on the actual breeding background and or cut origin. The marketing screams to me.. You want these flowers?.. grow these clones.. They are more concerned about accurate phenotype representation than homozygous traits.

I guess the only way to check is to find somebody using DHN for breeding stock or to do it yourself. If you're doing S1's or crossing using their stock with the limited background I would expect the unexpected... Cull the herms, and dont pass hermi stuff around.

Sound like fun to me to try DHN as breeding stock... I would disclose the history of the strain when passing it around.

I guess when i said "elite" I meant famous clone only strains that are pretty well known and popular. Yeah Grower Gone Wild is right on tho. If i were a clone company Id probably want my clones to be hard for others to and clone and unstable for breeding. That would force more sales, simply for ease of use people would opt to just fill there rooms with my clones instead of breeding with them or making their own mothers.

excellent acknowledgement GetMo, growers or newbie pollen chuckers gone wild. they are probably employing those business tactics. what does that mean for the future tho? especially when they are pushing the numbers out that they are. at 1500 offered cuts a week... thats a lot of exposure to the possibility of some peewee outcrossing and giving beans to fam or homies. this situation JUST happened infront of me two days ago in my living room with DHN Alien OG cut being dusted by my boys Blackberry male, unknowing that dhn is most likely a synthetically feminized genotype. made me sick that DHN allows this to potential to exist when a simple One Sentence disclosure would suffice to educate the patient respectfully. my homie was super bummed when i mentioned the potential synthetic elements.

On another note, just because these big time clone pushers exist, doesnt mean that genetics will be lost at all. If you want top of the line old school or landrace shit look to breeders such as ace genetics that are keeping old stock alive. If you want quality bomb ass elite genetics that are bred to search through for some dope ass variations of clone only's look to relentless genetics. We are in the age of sharing and networking, so many things possible, it all depends on what your looking for...

edit: by no means am i sayn these are the only ones, just ones that come to mind
