Dank club weed - Silver Misty

Got something interesting from the iCenter in Arcata. It's called Silver Misty and I wasn't able to ask a lot about it since they were busy.

I'm sure some ppl on this forum have all the details . .feel free to add them if you happen to see this.

Basically - the smell is rotten fruity. The potency is good to really good. The high is super clear, energetic, low cieling. It's nice and tasty, too. It has kind of a lemony-herby taste . .not super-distinct but nice.

This is my new favorite day-time herb . . . I think I like it even better than the Jack Flash I recently reviewed. A lot of times the club weed is not quite "head quality" but I'd say this qualifies . .at least for my jar.

I'm going to be on the look-out for a cut of this one.

A friend of mine says some of the best buds are coming outta Arcata these daze..and I think he's right damn that looks DANK!

The Misty is a sister plant to White Widow. It used to be one of Positronic's flagship strains in the old days, and is still sold by Wernard (and Homegrown Fantaseeds). Personally I'd choose it over the White Widow, it's one of the best daytime weeds for me, whenever I come across a really good daytime weed I always tend to compare it to the Misty.

I don't know what the Silver could be, perhaps Silver Haze? But if it's a cross, why not call it the Misty Haze, since using the word "Haze" will make everything sell faster than Lady Di's underwear?

Perhaps it's just a made-up name, cash croppers like to change names on a strain when it doesn't sound hot enough.

If you ever go back to the center, then please ask. It would be fun to know.

Rosy Cheeks, you mention Positronics. Do you have any further
knowledge about this company? And possibly on one of their
strains called Posi-Star. If u know anything, please share. Thanks.

Rosy Cheeks . .. first let me say that I've been reading threads here on icmag for a few months . .researching for my projects . .and have found your posts to be among the most righteous. People like you keep me searching the internet for good info.

Unfortunately, though . . . the thing about this club is they are kind of prone (so I hear) to making stuff up. VERY IMPORTANT . . this, in my opinion, is not because they like to make stuff up but because they are all so super wasted that they have no dea - they almost always have over 10 strains .. more like 25!

I was thinking this could be straight misty . .or mistly@silver haze since they also have that .. but they get all thier weed, as far as I know, from 3rd party vendors . .so it's anybody's guess. I think there is a good chance the grower reads this forum . .if so . .speak up . .nice work!

My short time here at icmag makes me thing a lot of you guys are in Europe . too bad pot is illegal . .such a party we could have . . . anyway . . .I keep posting here because I know a lot of people from Cali read here if not always post here.

On a totally seperate note . .ICMAG has changed the way I think about growing and, instead of just chasing the lastest cut, I decided to order some seeds and do some selecting (ok . . I admit that I might just trade my selections for some really really good clones!)

Well, Positronics was Amsterdam's first growshop (some people say it was the world's first growshop), run by a guy called Wernard Bruining, who also started Holland's first coffeeshop back in 1972, the Mellow Yellow.

Positronics also had their own seedline, selling both seeds and clones, and many of the strains now concidered oldschool first came out of Positronics.
I used to stop by Positronics whenever I was in A-dam (the shop whent down in the late 90's), but Posi-star doesn't ring a bell. I did a quick web search though and came up with this:

Thanks for the kind words TheGroBro. I hope I can contribute something to the overgrowing of this planet. When I first got online and discovered pot forums, I learned more about growing in a few months than I did for more than ten years as a solitary outdoor grower. It changed my life, literally, and if I can do the same for someone else, the better.

You're probably right about the Silver Misty, if someone with inside info could speak up, then please do.

Hi everyone,

Posi-star wasn't sold in the Positronics.
Posi-star whas first sold by willy wortel in Haarlem.
Posi-star is 50% this, and 50% that, but still, it is both pure
Positronics seeds. Melted into one ...Posi-Star.

I'm the maker of the Posi-Star.
