What up dabs... What size pump are you using to flood those ppks.? I've got a 1200gph sitting around as well as a Wayne 1hp that I used to wTer a couple 4x8 beds. Been away from the site for a while.... Looks like you are still killing it

You're going to LOVE those ppk's

Thanks dude:)

i had a couple clogging issues right off the bat, but a little pokey pokey with my sticky sticky took care of that. for now :moon:

What media did you end up with in those ppks?

Floordry, washed in 5 gallon buckets with 5 gallon paint strainers... simple, easy.

itd be cool to see a video or one of your fancy gifs of the new plumbing in action.

You're thinkin of the wrong guy. I aint that fancy ;)

1/6 hp flotec. Home depot. ~80$. Hooks directly up to a garden hose adapter, if thats what you're going with. My system is working perty good. I used a shit load of silicon, and hose clamps everywhere..

None of this was my idea. stolen from HL45 and d9, flat9, and others. Copy, paste grow!

Plants were a bit stressed after the transplant from the cups under weak light to the ppk's under heavy light. Also didnt have my humidity up, and seemed to be dealing with a bit of Vpd. i have it under control, and things are looking up.

I literally just picked up a bag of Napa 8822 a week ago. Haven't even opened it. Your method sounds easy enough.

I built a ppk but put a Lady from 2 gal coco/growstones and just tried to keep the mixture consistent. Already she seems to be loving it even with all the stress with multiple relocations and varying light intensity. Next up I'm going to do 2 fresh rooted clones straight into a ppk of their own and see how they do in the floor dry.

Lets see them ladies!

JR Peters Bloom Only Report...

JR Peters Bloom Only Report...

Sorry for not having feedback sooner, but relocating a 12 kw grow will do that to you...
Anyways, have a couple lights not like the flip, so decided to resume my Jack's Bloom formula only, no base.
So far, I have to say, we have a winner!! These GG#4 were put on the 10-30-20 blossom formula from day 21 to present (Day 50). The EC at 12-15 Tbsp per 60 gal of RO water ranged between 1.2 to 1.6.
I have been doing RO add backs for the last couple days, and will be looking to chop in 7-10 days. I will do a potency test after chop, but I can firmly say, it will hit at least 20% based on density of trichomes.

This room is the first to go to vert after chop BTW. I can't wait to go back to vert! Chomping at the bit...

I have to say this was a big question I was looking to get answered. I have 4 lbs of blossom booster laying around i wanted to use. I was going to alternate feedings with blossom booster and jacks.

You are running straight BB from day 21 on? I thought micronutriebt deficiencies may result, and JR Peters recommends alternating feedings on their hydrohelp blog.

Thanks for the feedback arminus. Very informative! :tiphat:

Their booster has micro nutrients, and yes Day 21 onwards, no base.

More questions, sorry Arminius....

Which blossom booster are you using? There is a Jack's Classic and a Professional version on their website. The Professional only comes in 25lb bags. The one the sent me was the Classic.

Links to both: Classic Professional

The Professional has more Magnesium but less of the other micronutrients than the Classic, and neither contain ANY Calcium. Hence my assumption of micronutrient deficiencies using the either of the products above.

The classic is the one I am using once I see flower set start. I have a small pail of the professional, but I only use it once per cycle, like dry KoolBloom.

I am chopping some of the plants in that room so I will have better shots for you to see the results.

I'd be very interested to see a side by side of the nugs you've grown with Jack's Hydro vs Booster. Density vs size. Amount of stem. Overall Yield. Etc....

not healthy plants =/

Time to relearn how to do this it seems. Had the coco nailed.

Its been about 10 days since transplant. only about 3/14 plants really look healthy to me. The rest are sorta looking like shit. I chalked it off to low humidity, and set my foggers up again. ~4 days later, not much better.

Ph is a bit low in all 3 systems. When i was mixing my bulk res i added some sm90 to get the ph up a little bit. We'll see how they respond.
